i think martial arts at one point served a point and purpose in self defense. but in today's environment: nothing takes down another person faster than a 9mm, 45, 357 whatever your choice.

just ask my friend who was a very skilled mma that got matched up with a 9 mil. oh wait, he's not around anymore. the 9 mm won. one shot in the chest from a distance that no mma could touch. call the shooter a coward but he is an alive coward.
