  • Safety is no fun and you can't barrel race with an english saddle without disgracing everything involving rodeo! English riding is only good for attempting to look pretty, which everyone who rides english sucks at :p

  • @Haynology Lol your ignorance, yeah makes perfect sense, that;s why english is in the olympics

  • does anyone wanna stop fighting over western and english?! I have ridden both. they are just two different types of riding! nothing to fight over! and i think there was actually about one person with a brain on that video. The girl with the bloomin HELMET! Hasn't anyone heard of safety?

  • You all make me ashamed to be a rider. Whatever fucking discipline.

  • OMG. . . they are both great so STFU and quit your yappin over which is better or whatever they are fun just like what cassyk101165 said.

  • haha now people are yelling about people fightin' over englih and western.. Haha

  • Western Is better! lol just kidding but I ride western and actually I barrel race (: fun fun

  • This stuff right here ... It's my life ... Wouldn't trade it for the world ...

  • @97BarrellGal97 me too

  • OMG!!!

There is NOTHING wrong with English it's not a badazzled version of western. I mean Jumping and barel racing are nothing alike lol

I've seen Western there is NOTHING wrong with it too! Maybe some people just ya know "perfer being in a western or English" saddle... It doesn't matter does it? Horseback riding doesn't matter what you "look" better at.. It's about creating a bond with an amazing animal and putting your minds together as ONE <3

Can't we all agree on that?

  • Some of those pics are of Australian Barrel Racers!!!!

  • I love it! There's too many people in all sports that don't take the time to learn the sport or just get into it and end up hurting the horse. The GOOD barrel racers and riders in general are great! I do eventing, rodeos, barrels, poles, trick riding, and hunter jumpers. There just is no safe horse sport, but if you do it right it's great. Thanks for posting! :)

  • how about 3 barrels 2 hearts = one goddam awsome sport

  • i favor this way more than pleasure...do you think a horse has fun trotting around in circles with its nose on the ground??? I THINK NOT!!!

  • would you guys quit fussing over which is better, english or western! i ride both and i love them both! so stop

  • @tootsiegal620 Same! It's annoying! They are both sooo much fun! and Soooooo amazing!

  • I love barrel racing especialy when the horse isnt insane

  • Ugg....i hate it when people fight and yell over western and english...i ride BOTH and THERE BOTH GREAT

  • these pics are awesome!

  • Cool!

  • I bet $100

  • Cowgirlgonejumper what's your problem y u keep puttin down people that ride western and the pleasure horses some of them get the best treatment

  • Lol I love all the gaming sports!! How much do you want to bet all the dislikes are jealous English riders!?!?!!

  • barrel raceing is my hole life win it ends i start crying

  • I. Love. this. video!!!!!! so cute(: barrel racing is the most awesome feeling when your out there doin it. its so intense, but this video shows how much fun it is(: and plus, i love kevin fowler!! this video will make any true barrel racer smile!(: haha

  • omg is this the finest, barrel racing suck and hurt the horses

  • @sigridandbilly actually depends on the rider but english rides hurt the horses more i ride both and never touched a whip, spur, or a bit and i do barrels, poles, and jumping and i prefer clicker training

  • @911natalia haha, are you just going to say "english riders hurt the horses more" ?? all the videos of barrel racing etc on youtube shows sad horses who are getting chased around, and people think its fun when they start bucking or falling

  • @sigridandbilly a like i said it depends on the rider and if you look at english riders the horses look like they are accualy in pain and if the horses where in pain you would know and how are they being chased around and the horses will not do it if they dont want to

  • @911natalia oh yeah sure, but i ride both and the horses at the place i ride english at are no way in pain. neither hurts the horse more it just depends on the rider both can have riders that hurt the horses, i've seen my share of barrel racers that have injured their horse with spurs and whips

  • @equestrianchick92 sorry domb ass sister but ya it does depend on the rider

  • @911natalia thats what i just said."a like i said it depends on the rider and if you look at english riders the horses look like they are accualy in pain"-& that isnt true , what you said was pretty much a contradiction because you make it sound like its the sports fault(which it isnt) there are many western riders that abuse their horses too,its not just english & it can also happen in driving, racing, saddleseat, anything. & please proofread its very hard to read comments that dont make sense

  • @equestrianchick92 dude chill that was my sis and i ride better than her and my friend used to whip her horse and her horse got totally pissed of and bucked her off i never use those that is bad especially with my horse and she is still a little bit wild at times she is only 5 years old it does depend on the rider though and i am in the vid

  • @equestrianchick92 Um actually its the western pleasure horses that look in pain. and when you dont ride english correctly. when ya crank their heads to their chest they hurt. when you have the horse carrying itself they looked relaxed and chewing their bit ENGLISH DONT HURT THEM YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT IF RIDDEN CORRECTLY!!!! I should know

T_T I RIDE ENGLISH. and hun its the rider not the discapline. and also if the horse is doing THEIR perfered discapline with a good rider then their happy

  • @CowgirlGoneJumper listen- you like english, we like western. english is just a badazzled version of western, so just chill. There ain't no prob with western OR english.

  • @gallop2theend i like both i was defending my chosen i wasnt downing any but pleasure and thats for BOTH truthfully and hell some western is more badazzled than english and no it aint really their different in teaching and riding but the same in the heart. i aint downing western im saying its the riders not the disciplin so dont chew up my ass just cuz you think im saying something that AINT EVEN IN MY POST. T_T

  • @gallop2theend eniglish andwestern still teach you the same things!! how to control your horse and riding!dresage saddles and western sit you the same and hunt is more for jumping but you still have to do many of the same things

  • @sigridandbilly o and i forgot im actualy in this vid

  • Im going to Start learning how to do it I KNOW its hard and VERY dangerous but so is almost every other horse sport...
