I wish they'd bothered to try and save this little whale. How SW fed JJ was nothing like what the woman described. You keep them in a smallish tank so they can swim but can't hurt them selves (think like a hospital bed) and feed them from a tube, but you don't sit on them and you most certainly don't use metal.

The whale had to be euthanized, as a baby on his own it had no chance of surviving. This happens in nature (even before global warming) so people shouldnt be so pissed of about this. Even if there was the slighest chance to saving this whale and reintroducing it into the wild, it would probably cost a lot more than to save 2 other whales in the wild.
I am all for an animal not suffering, but more could have been done and was not! There were people with ideas on how to feed her, but no one wanted to listen.
