  • Hugo Chavez plays the same role that kadafi or hussein, its an excuse to take over Venezuela ´s oil, in the near future, via a ¨war on terror¨

  • Makes me want to go to Venezuela an offer them help installing 100% renewable Energy while the oil can lube that sale! Do you sell Renewable Energy Products? Do you need help? Ask me!

  • @usertogo A revolution can't be done without solid-state technologies, industrial plants, etc. I am a machine designer, I design automated machine, robots and we make a lot of R&D in renewable energy. We can unite and use our cluster of knowledge and realize marvels of tech. A small step for a nation and a big step for Latin-America. Long live the Bolivarian Revolution. BTW the oil is only for a kick-start boost, this money will serve for the industrial revolution for greater economical outputs.

  • The Comander going to rule until 2051!!!!! Noone get him out of power - NOT EVER! Go Comander GO, crush the facist oligarch adversaries with a fist of Iron!!!! Never we go back to puntofijismo!!! Fatherland socialism or DEATH!!!

  • I've heard that several international organizations state that Venezuela's elections are some of the most open in the world. He seems to have the support of the majority of the poor, which make up most of the country, yet those of the higher classes say that it isn't democracy? Of course they would be mad, the government isn't working for them anymore. It's working for the poor. At least that's what I gleaned from this.

  • I need to go to Venezuela and see for my self if things really are improving Because I seen Pro-chavez propaganda films like this one and I have seen anti-chavez films like journeyman's picture unravelling the revolution.According to the media they really need to do something about the crime in Caracas Isnt it the most dangerous city in the world?

  • So for those who put this video out I assume you supported Perez before Chavez, We need to give an account for leaders before Chavez, for it looks like in many categories for the poor , Chavez has improved things. Why does he have so much support>? We have to tell VPRO that we are on to what they are doing.Travis

  • I respect this man, he is different from the other communists.. he has honor! Greetings to Venezuela's people and leadership from Palestine!

  • Chavez uses oil money and state collected tax money to finance his political campaigns. He is clearly a dictator and that is not democracy.

  • THE US SHOULD LEAVE UNDER COUNTRIES RUN THERE OWN WAYS , OF COARSE IF OTHER COUNRIES ARE BEING KILLED THEM I WOULD WANT MY COUNTRY TO HELP . BUT HERE IS WERE THE US FUCKS UP . THEY SET UP THE OTHER COUNTRY TO FALL ON PURPOSE , THEY USE MEDIA TO TWIST WORDS AROUND , FUCK THE AMERICANS , IM CANADIAN I LOVE VENEZUELA .

  • i am comunist but i dont understand why always comunism must be under some kind of great leader...this is against the ideology of comunism itselff that should be about the power of the people and real democracy.democracy means power of the people, political power and economical power, there is no need of great leaders and heroes the people should be the leaders and the heroes, united under the comunist party but without any leaders.i liked chavez but i dont like what he is becoming

  • VIVA CHAVEZ, VIVA VENEZUELA.

  • Talk, talk, talk. Since 1999 he talks about socialism. Yet Venezuela is still a capitalist nation. Rich capitalists still control the means of production.

The state is the other major owner of industries. But win out workers control, you get a soviet style system. Workers and consumers must control the economy, not the state bureaucrats.

The oligarchy has been allowed to life for ten years under Hugo Chavez. He is no socialist, he is a nationalist and a big talker.

  • *Yawn* The Cult of the Messianic Narcissist is so 20th century. Esta pelicula ya la vi. Chavez and his ilk should research and develop original paradigms of blame displacement and exploitation.

  • THE FACT IS THAT USA OIL CORPORATION WANT TO STEAL OIL FROM VENEZUELA, LIKE THEY DID WITH IRAK . AFGHANISTA PRODUCE OPIUM FOR HEROIN , AND IT FUNDS CIA OPERATIONS. IN COLOMBIA THEY WANT TO ELIMINATE GUERRILLA BECAUSE THEY CAN CONTROL DRUGS WITHOUT COMPETITION , SO THEY CAN FUNDS CIA OPERATIONS TOO.

  • 99% want Hugo, the other 1 percent with your criticism. shut the fuck up and take the back seat.

  • Everybody can have their own opinion, which I support 100%. But if people don't like Chavez WHY THE FUCK are they watching this video? I'm not a Nazi, hence I don't go and watch Nazi videos. If you like socialism and Chavez and freedom then watch and enjoy. If you don't then fuck off.

  • Уго Чавес молодец! даёшь коммунизм!

  • @gravitation770 Oh yes, I'll grow a sheep's brain, and worship whichever left wing fanatic you want. Baaaaahhh

  • @soco13466 Ignorant Fucking Sheep Brain Propaganda Puppet Suck Satans Cock. think for yourself. Dig your own facts. Use your own Brain. Stop sucking Satans Cock.

  • @tittiesman1231 Fucking commie bastard. So stupid, to actually want to live under communism. So stupid, 70 years ago, fifty, twenty, ten, NOW there are idiots who call ME sheep, while they worship this wierd egomaniac. BAAAA Typical commie. Blame the opponent of what you're guilty of. "Kill a Commie... For Mommy..."

  • @soco13466 Now did I say a word about communism?? No, I didn't. Here's the thing: I only open my mouth to say things when I have strong empirical evidence to back them up. Otherwise, I would be foolish to speak on the subject. You, on the other hand, come to wild assumptions and make up facts as you see fit, when having no proof whatsoever. Do you not see then, that your remarks are meaningless? Go read Anne Rand, jerk off a hundred times or so with course sandpaper, And Suck Satan's Cock.

  • @INDIFERENTAN want some REAL NUMBRS? how about the numbr of VIOLENT DEATHS in 10 years?

that's roughly 160,000people. Now the number of DEATHS in just one year, 2009:14000 (In Iraq, a country at war, the number was 9.000)that's 14.000 families that lost someone,14000 people that had a life just like you and me, but you wouldn't know anything about that wouldn't you: because you don't live in a country where you have to worry when go out the door if you will come back alive. YOU SUPPORT THIS?

  • HAHA... I wonder now, what country was this filmed in.because sure as hell it wasn't in Venezuela. THIS IS NOT THE REALITYweLiveIn.Want to hear about the TRUE cuban doctors in vzla?, well they gave my friend stomach medication for a lumbago, they prescribed aspirin to a woman down the street that was suffering an appendicitis. If that's the medicine the ppl deserve here, then we are doomed. OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT about the 33political prisioners, and the 3.000 tons of rotten food. DoSomeResearch

  • He reminds me Hitler, with his speeches. Remember, Hitler was elected too. We all know how that turned out, with his National SOCIALIST Party

  • @soco13466 Hitler was not fucking elected you tard! Von hindenburg beat him ALL elections, made him Chancellor as the Nazi party was gaining strength.(hindenberg was still president) But when von hindenburg died a few months later Hitler used the Enabling Act to merge the positions of President and Chancellor into one... Fuhrer. If you don't know wtf you're talking about, please just keep you're mouth shut and work to educate yourself.

  • Another egoist dictator. The lights go out all over Venezuaela

  • Good Socialist propaganda. Socialism is evil and it will FAIL!

  • Sorry for Chavez, poor man with a teacher like Fidel Castro..., poor Chavez, sorry for him!

  • ridiculous. biased and ridiculous. simply ridiculous

  • Hugo's socialism is like kryptonite to Imperialists. Now we know who holds real power.

  • @Manolo1013 i dont know what hugo chavez is going to do when he finishes stealing from the rich , the only rich is going to be chavez and he is not giving his power or money away. That is the definition of socialist I steal from the rich that had to work to get rich, after that what will he do, he doesnt know how to handle wealth and that is why venezuela is declining......

  • And the majority of media outlets are still PRIVATELY OWNED. Viva Hugo.

  • @Someideasandstuff this was 4 years ago dear. Things are much different now. and besides... what does it mean to be "privately own" if the president of your country openly says (and does) in national tv: Those who do not summit to socialistic and revolutionary lines of opinion.. will be immediately closed down. Where's the independence of the press HERE? is no one allowed to disagree with this "revolution"? or is it that democracy has only ONE voice (that of the president)?

  • @helecarpio Not true. There are plenty of private media companies that are anti-Chavez.

  • 0:18 "left-wing revolutions ion South America always seemed doomed to failure"

Yeah, thanks to the CIA & its efforts at undermining such revolutions throughout Latin American history, such "doom" is foregone. In the 1980s various leftist governments or revolutions in Central America were undemined by CIA & American aid. In 1973 Richard Nixon & Henry Kissinger planned the overthrow of Salvador Allende in Chile installing the fascist Pinochet. The list of US meddling is endless.

    Libertad y democracia.

    Hazme saber!

    Luan Vidad.

  • it is Funny that those who use all these statistical evidence dont know were they are coming from I dont see any left wing talking about las damas de blanco in Cuba ,or the confrotation that Alarcon had with the icu student ,or the abuses with the cuban blogger.Cubans cant go to their own hospital facilities that are used by the people that come to cuba to be treated. The hospital in the tunas area are in a disgraceful condition and you dont hear anyone talking about it . Government Hypocrisy.

  • too easy for you I kn that...

  • This interesting doc from 07, no doubt hails Chavez as a popular socialist hero. Move forward 3 years to the present day and the predicted result of the Robin Hood effect, namely, price controls at the point of a gun and power shortages are evidenced. Although the lesson has already been taught several times accross the world, some in the class are a bit thick, so at the cost of adding to the 70+ mil. deaths, let us sit back and watch once more the effects of socialist despotism.

  • Power shortages are due to Chavez pushing for a 'greener' power supply. Admittedly he shouldn't have gone as far as he did, but at least he's trying for climate change i guess :)

  • Perhaps he is having technical problems. However, if the usual(and tired) socialist despot proclamation "we are all equally in this together, my compadres" has any credibility , then Caracas should be equally short of power. Further, I should venture to add that I am sure that friends of Chavez get all the power they need, whilst the rest remain powerless. The lesson is that in any socialist despotism you need to make sure that you are on right side of the switch. lol

  • I doubt Chavez's personal friends have the power they need unless they are outside the zones which are affected.

I think the issue with the power cuts comes fundamentally back to the fact that he shouldn't have 'gone green' to the point where the 5th highest oil exporter is haing power shortages.

  • Sorry, misled you, playing with the word "power" to mean energy power and personal power at same time, as in "the powerful" versus "the powerless"". I dont live in Venezuela, but from both the perspective of pure human self interest and what 80 years of socialist managed economies have already taught us (if you are paying attention and have access to the information), is that if you are a good friend of Chavez's, the zones will miracolously not be in your area..Carry out an analysis to find out.

  • I should add that it is pretty telling that he 5th largest oil exporter has power cuts???!!l. The green thing sounds like a lie.

Perhaps real reason is that price fixing, means those with parts for generators will not sell.

Perhaps those with the brains have already left,

Perhaps because now everybody is collectively responsible, individuals do not need to be persnally responsible, the incentive is gone.

Have journalists started to dissapear yet?

Sit back, sit back and watch it crumble...

  • quE decir? pena de este hombre manipulado por la habana...!digo que el alma de bolivar, sera el alma tItanica de bolivar y no la de otros mediocres!!!

  • I have no intention to lead a polemic with such Ignorant person.

For decades, Cuba is under heavy sanctions of U.S. chauvinists and exploiters.

However that doesn't prevent Cuba, though is so small and oppressed by huge and aggressive neighbor, to be world's NO. 1 in some sciences. For example. medicine. Cuba has the best health system in the world, and average life expectancy in Cuba is significantly longer than in the US. Let's not speak about black holes such as Columbia, etc..

  • Maybe you shoulsd look at the ricardo alarcon and The icu student questions that was almost imposible for alarcon to give a straight answer. Cuba is Misery, restrictions, rationing and the absolute power of the goverment over his people . I rather take my chances in the USA were if i dont like the president i can say so, Stop being a hipocrite and find out bad govermnets in the comunist blok before is to late for you. if you think that Cuba Is so great why dont you move there.............

  • In USA you can say that you don't like president , and you can do anything about it ! Is the Joe Biden face of "CHANGE", or Hilary ?

Does sending of 30 000 soldiers in war, nominates you for Nobel Peace Prize ?

Or the world just looks bad these days?

USA, country, whose leadership has hands bloody to the elbows, wants share the lessons of democracy to the whole world. Well who agrees to it - fine.

But those who don't agree, they have all my sympathy and support.

    VIVA HUGO !

  • I've been in Cuba , it was great ! Beautiful country, beautiful. intelligent people i would gladly live there. You should visit Cuba too. I've been in US too, i saw rich people, but also saw a lot of beggars and homeless, People living in trailers... junkies...I did not dare to enter in some parts of the NYC .

But my biggest impression is ignorance of their population. Almost none of those with whom I talked didn't know where's my country.

  • @INDIFERENTAN is funny that you talk about the beautiful Cuba and dont also talk about blood in Fidel's hands not to the elbows but the whole bod , it seems that you like to do what someone else wants you to do think and dreams of what you want., love how of a hypocrite you are, i can mention many totalitarian countries that people die on a daily basis that will like to have the chance to be in the USA. In my house have a a cuban resident that has been hre less than two months.

  • @INDIFERENTAN When you talk to Cuban that has lived all their life there you then know the lack of liberty and the tight security castro has. There is a political/security person in every block that is always on the look out for someone to say something against the government. I currently live among Cubans and one of them a doctor that was in a program aiding south america. Even if you are a doctor you are under the eye of the political attache, so much for liberty in Cuba

  • @INDIFERENTAN is funny that we agree in something we have a lot of ignorant in the USA LIKE IN THE REST OF THE WORLd, Maybe you didnt walk far enough ,you would have found people like me that live in two countries going back and forth to make the money they need . Maybe you should try to walk in the City of Cumana Venezuela to see how Chavez and his goons have threaten the public to make them afraid of being against him. I know there are poor people in the us but we also lot have opportunities

  • There are some strict security measures both in Cuba and Venezulela. Their big and aggressive neighbor is waging silent war against them. Against Cuba for decades, against Venezuela is just started, but it is much more intensive.

Hugo is chosen by people ,democratically. And CIA organized attempt of his overthrow ? Do you support such things? What happened Zelaya? What they tried to do with Morales? They tried to kill Fidel more than 500 times. You support that ? Is that democracy?

  • @INDIFERENTAN you call that strict security measures? these are not against the enemy outside , but to subdue the venezuelan people. how can a president close all media against him and call it a democracy, i think this is pure hypocrisy if it is done for one side is ok , but not if done by the other. Why do we have to have Cubans telling us what to do in our own country?

  • 1) you have to decide which one is your country, USA or Venezuela.

    2) Sure, Hugo oppressed Venezuelan people, especially while he was in CIA prisons. He oppressed them so much that millions come out on streets to defendo him. They defended, not only Hugo, but also their will they, and their freedom of choice.

And that's why whole Venezuela is great!

Let's put it clear, you have right to be Opposition to Hugo, but it's not good to be Opposition to common sense! You saw those numbers.

  • live in one country work on another , Hugo has lied his way thru and has become a totalitarian dictator as his mentor and best friend Fidel , not for the good of the country as he advertise but for the absolute power of Chavez . Venezuela used to be great the socio -economic problems and a dim future full of uncertaity is coming and the lack of liberty is starting to undermine daily existence.

  • Que gran maestro de la conciencia el tirano Fidel castro!! que te pago? ??luan vidad??/

si bolivar te viera,,,!! que revolucion!!

  • @INDIFERENTAN how wrong you are ! my family lives in vz and i lived there too, only if you are kissing hugos boots you can do anything in Vz . they ration the electricity , water and they have closed the free media, anyone against Chavez is harassed and make it impossible to find work. it is making everyone to lie about the affiliation with Chavez . It is starting to look more and more like Cuba, i f you enjoy a government that tells you what to do think and where to go this is for you ...

  • @INDIFERENTAN This is bullshit , the Venezuelan government is preparing for a war that will never come , the truth is that they are using the military to control the civilian population. Chavez wants a totalitarian government with no opposition. There is no democracy in venezuela, all is propaganda and you are buying it . Chavez has shut down any person that tries to use the media against him and the country is divided and afraid. He says one thing and does the other , what a joke is the govt.

  • @INDIFERENTAN Thank-you... it is still very much hard for people to grasp that 'our culture' (I speak for the most of the western world) is an intensely predatory one. We have intellectualized-away the enslavement of millions (and continue to).

  • @INDIFERENTAN well said.

  • @INDIFERENTAN America doesn't care if a country is free or not, they only care if the country is profitable towards them. They've supported many dictators as long as they're anti-communist and allow them to use their oil resources. They supported Batista, the dictator of Cuba before the revolution, and made sure Saddam Hussein got into power to prevent the communist party from getting in power in Iraq. They support certain dictators and assassinate them once they no longer have use for them.

  • Did you ever had thoughts about the millions of poor in Latin America, that fell in that position thanks to a robbery that a variety of American companies (supported by the CIA) were conducting for decades, often using methods that can be characterized as pure evil ! Military coups, murders, mass terror, genocide! Do you remember the El Salvador, Chile, Panama ... Do you have the memory of "United Fuits", or your mind and your conscience are forever lost in your shopping cart?

  • @INDIFERENTAN funny you are only worried for what the americans do, what about the cubans, the russians, the chinese north korea and their brutal repression of is own people or maybe i have not taken the same course in history,if you are so concern why is always the people on the democracy side , start with many of the brutal communist too. And yes many of the US policies have been flawed during the coldwar but so more were the communist

countries that slaved their citizens and never admitted it

  • Only have U.S. global power. And only U.S. wants to rule world with their bloody hands. Only U.S. wants to have a monopoly on truth and justice, and truth and justice, according to them, is anything what suits interests of their small financial elite. That is evil !

In 20 years world will be multipolar. US will not have today's power. We'll see who will be criticized by me then! With my comments,I will always aim the snake right in the head. For now, snake's head is in USA.

  • It is funny that you never mention , russia , the chinese and in venezuelas case 30,000 cubans that are in the Venezuelan government that take care of venezuelas affairs. I dont need cubans to run my country . Why Chavez can trust Venezuelans , even for his own security detachment ?Is always the democracies of the world fault not the communist regimes....

  • HI COMRADES I AM VIETNAMESE , MY COUNTRY IS A COMMUNIST COUNTRY ,WE ARE NOT OPPRESS ,WE WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE A BETTER PLACE FOR OUR CHILDRENS AND PROTECT OUR COUNTRY FROM POTENTIAL ENEMIES. IMPERIALISM IS ESSENTIAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF U.S CAPITALISM AM I CORRECT?our we was over in 1979 ,we are industrializing and modernizing now and 2nd fastest economy growing now behind china

  • Ive been to your country and compared to where I live it is a pretty poor place, ...you can thank your self interested communist masters for that. Dont get me wrong, nice people and everything, but in terms of development, well you are pretty much at the back of the class and now you all have to work twice as hard for half as much to catch up, 2nd fastest because you have to start again. You think this is good? sounds like the propaganda machine is still working on you. Read Rothbard, Mises etc.

  • la misma propaganda populista de los Castros, sin dudas el viejo trabajo bien para adiestrar a algunos secuaces!!!

    luan vidad

  • hi , is this what you call NEO-COLONIALISM??

  • jajaja hazme reir, hoy bebo en el exilio por los huesos de fidel castro y tu lo sabe s bien!!!

  • hi again my friend you know in my country in vietnam ,our poorer citizen are victims of exploited labor to richer people like u.s businesses , poorer citizen gets lower wages inorder to have a job ,our communist country don't have a choice because we have a single market , single economy, very few resources for export but there is a good side, money from u.s business triple our economy strength, investments makes us stronger, add me my friend

  • lol

I doubt that you're from Vietnam, but anyway...

I agree with you, that cooperation is needed with everyone. But on an equal footing. The problem is that the United States have tendency of establishing that kind of "cooperation", which is established with Iraq. Such kind of "cooperation" they tried to establish with Vietnam too.

But they gave them, pretty good lesson of politeness.

  • Buscate un buen poeta para que te escriba tus obtasIlabos.

    luan

  • Sorry to press you on this, but could you provide statistical evidence for this bold statement.

If you define No1 as the number of doctors produced per capita (irrespective of quality) then perhaps, if you define No1 in medical advances then perhaps not. Last time I looked France had the best "Health system" in the world according WHO(2000). Cuba was number 39, US no 37. Life exp Cuba 78.3 yrs US 78.2 yrs ..not very significant

  • Ignorant and malicious U.S. dogs should know, that INFLATION IS NOT ALWAYS BAD THING ! ! !

There is phenomenon called "inflation-unemployment trade of"

Inflation increases employment, employment increases economic growth, etc. ..

Government which leads a serious and long-term good economic policy does not inhibit inflation at any cost, and build political marketing on it.

But I understand that gawky people like svenvdw (under all his youtube names and accounts) just can not comprehend that.

  • @INDIFERENTAN estupido que dices? Your girlfriend told me the same thing she likes the inflation in my bulge... malicious dog . what are you taking about , chavez policy is fucking up the country and he is getting advice from the losers from cuba that are have a bankrupt economy. the unemployment in venezuela is going thru the roof , take a plane and go to the coast of Cumana and ask questions.Comemierda !!!!

  • I was distracted for a few minutes while this video was playing, and for just a moment during one of his speeches I thought it was Hitler speaking. Then my brain told me he was speaking Spanish instead of German. Still, the parallels with 1930's Germany are striking, with the demands for a 1 party government, and state control of practically everything.

  • 24 jan 2010 (cnn) - CARACAS-Venezuelan cities protesting again Chavez order to shut down RCTV for second time, We want the world to see what´s happening here!!!! They order the cable carries to stop broadcasting RCTV International signal, just a few hours ago, and the signal is already gone!!!

  • simple hugo chavez is a dictator that has betryed his country .he is a disaster for venezuela..... and a dumb comunist

  • CARACAS-- jan 8 (reuters) OPEC member Venezuela, South America's top oil exporter, has one of the highest inflation rates in the world despite economic contraction fueled by lower demand for goods and distortions caused by currency exchange controls.

The inflation rate, which was 31 percent last year and remains the highest in Latin America, is a threat to President Hugo Chavez's popularity and could be a factor in parliamentary elections next year.

  • Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuelan Trade Minister Eduardo Saman said the government began to expropriate six Hipermercado Exito stores today after President Hugo Chavez said the French- Colombian owned retailer broke the law by raising prices.

  • Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuela devalued its currency by half yesterday, the first such action since March 2005, as President Hugo Chavez seeks to pull the economy from recession amid falling oil revenue.

Du fortsatt venter Yankees å kaste deg noen smuler?

  • just wanted to tell you that chavez decided this weekend that every venezolan is 50% more poor. hate to say... told you so. and its gonna get wors. chavez is gonna go dooown. that happends when you dont understand nothing about economy.

  • Where is your "economic report" , dude???

Try hard... come up with something... you can forge...it's all you can do !

But send me something, don't just say that you sent me if you didn't.

I gave you precise numbers, which clearly show that Hugo successfully lead the economy of Venezuela, and that makes him great and popular !

But those numbers also show how sick and frustrated liar you are.

Why don't you just face the fact

    - that you are dumb, and HUGO IS GREAT ! ! !

  • DEVALUATION of the Bolivar! that means N O T a successfully lead of the economy of venezuela. IDIOT. READ a fucking newspaper and stop acting blind, AND i send the numbers and a link to your acount. again: last weekend: DEVALUATION OF THE BOLIVAR. that means: FAILING ECONOMY! im btw just back from venezuela and man how are you wrong wrong and again so wrong!

  • Herregud!

  • Just for the record, you haven't sent me any report!? ! ! Another lie !

    I understand why...

because report that can support your "arguments" can't exist !

However, what I don't understand, and what fascinated me about you, is your willingness to lie, continuously, shamelessly, and yet so naively and stupidly.

All data on which we speak are available to the public and EVERYONE CAN CHECK them.

Hugo successfully lead the country and the economy that's why people in Venezuela love him.

  • Hugo successfully lead the country and the economy that's why people in Venezuela love him. ... HAHAHAHAHAHA... how blind can you be

    WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA

  • Comment removed

  • Now,you are straitened with facts and naked figures that show how sick liar you are. And your imagination can't help? Go to sleep, I hope that you will be awakened as a better man,and not another American puppy begging for a bone.

Dream of Colombia free of American domination. One day Columbia will belong to it's own people, and not to uncle Sam. Than this digits may reverse in your favor !

Until then, enjoy the success of your neighbors, leaded with honest and the mighty hand of Hugo Chavez.

  • i hope this government works for the people there sometimes it is hard to believe the american news we get here in canada painting chavez as a troublemaker of course he is a troublemaker to the usa/eu

  • Well I liked the video overall, but I'm not totally swayed in either direction. If there is anybody from Venezuela who reads this, please PM me. I would like to hear from somebody who experiences this first hand.

Si hay algiuen de Venezuela que lee esto, por favor me PM. Me gustar`ia la perspectiva de algiuen que ve y sabe lo bueno y lo malo de ese situaci`on.

  • oh and mister indiferentan. its a crappy statement to make that Hugo chavez has an 'enormous worldwide popularity'. you cant proof it, nore i can proof the contrary. but ofcourse you believe blindly the propaganda from your great leader or so called 'el comandante'. i always asked myself how left leaders became so big and people followed them blindly in to destruction. and with chavez there is no different.. after 10 years the results are coming in. people just like to believe in ferrytales...

  • You know, I would gladly discus some things with you. But, man, your brain is pretty damaged by "global media". You are stuck in a projections created by world's rulers, same those who own all main media, those 1%of world population that own 99% of world capital, those who stole Iraqi natural resources and killed 1 000 000 of iraqi civilians. Now,their eyes are on Venezuelan oil reserves.

That's why Hugo is popular all over the world, because he is fighting against all of that !

  • Global media has pretty much nothing to do with being blind for facts. It seems there only counts one expression for people like you: in the land of the blind, one-eye is king. oh and another thing. study some economy and history and make some connections if you are able to do so. Suply and demand also do work on oil. If the value of oil would have been based on the economy of venezuela it would have been worth nothing. you shouldn't use btw youtube. It has been created by people you dislike.

  • Well my friend, every intelligent person knows, that the soft propaganda and selective presentation of the facts, are the most effective propaganda tools. All "facts" that You know about Venezuela and world in whole, are selected and directed to make you stupid, shallow and deceived, as you are today.

It's not about -"value of oil", it's about - in whose hands profit from oil selling goes ! ! !

Oh, and I didn't know that You Tube has been created by oil tycoons ?!

  • Who created You Tube?

I told you before, while you were using your other accounts :

52% of all engineers in USA - are foreigners, and large percentage of other "American engineers" are also BORN AND EDUCATED IN A OTHER COUNTRY, including my brother...

Sad fact is that average American barely knows where his ass is...

Sometimes, I think, that they deliberately make their own people so stupid in order they don't not to understand unequal and unjust is distribution of wealth in their country.

  • lol, man what are you talking about another acount. but anyhow, why doesnt your brother go to venezuela and does everything what they have educated him in that country overthere? he can work for the government no? they will pay him good. no? or start an own business no? and look when chavez will confiscate it because your brother would become to wealthy. why he goes working in that kapitalistic shitholl that calls america 'acording to you'?

  • Well, he is pretty sick of everything there and soon he is coming back to Europe. But he signed contract which can not terminate for another year, behold wonders! He was young and naive if he listened Advices of his family, he would never went there. Now every day he is wailing to me over Skype, how he has no time for anything, how he is spending everything he earns just on food and rent of apartment. how he is surrounded by an incredibly shallow and gawky people ... etc.

  • You first need to have a policy that creates wealth. when you destroy enterprises and confiscate everything that created the wealth you create poverty like chavez did. No wonder basic things becomes so expensive in venezuela. there is shortnes in everything. last year i went to venezuela. in 2 weeks i leave again. my family overthere already said it becomes worser and worser. criminality in caracas is rising and you even can not analyse why that is. surprise me if you know.

  • I have many friends from Venezuela, with whom I exchanged many emails, and they tell me the story that is just the opposite to your story. They say that everything is better, cheaper, more accessible to the ordinary people. They all are full of optimism and faith in better future. Crime, drug cartels, corruption, violence...all that reminds me of another country -Colombia ! ! ! Are you sure that your family is not in Bogota? Certainly there are some Belgians there! LOL

  • hmm, i think honestly your story is cheese with holes. if you deny the stories of arne chacon, the energietroubles, the water shutdowns. extremely rising prices you are a blind folowing chavista of the worst kind who doesnt dare to see the truth or you are just, well yeah sorry for the word but a bit...simple. even his oversubsidised mercal can not keep it up anymore and these are facts: since may 2009 till now prices of mercalproducts went up with 94,5%.

  • General increase of prices is called inflation, and it's not always bad phenomenon. If you are educated, you would know for the phenomenon called - trade of inflation and unemployment. Sometimes price growth increases employment and social welfare, but I'm afraid you're a bit slow to understand that. You probably had some actions in some of these American companies that were stealing Venezuelan resources. Hugo stood on their tail and nationalized them, now you're angry, right?

  • You do know btw that most of the products you find in mercal are produced in Brazil and COLOMBIA!? why? because there is not enough production anymore in venezuela itself. you even avoid the criminality issue. better and cheaper products? thats a big lie and that i can confirm myself. AND another thing the bario adentro project is a big farce. people said it and i went to look for mysyelf in PETARE and it was shocking!

  • I really don't know how to help you, Hugo is a great, you're just a little frustrated mouse from Columbia... Maybe, it will help you, if you just sit down and cry for awhile, it could be relief for you.

  • when there is a rise of prices in 10,7 years of 700% we call that technically HYPERINFLATION. and the idiot is selling blind the nations gold to the russians. in fact venezuela has stagflation at this moment. the moneysuply goes up but economic activities are declining rapidly. so in fact the big crash still needs to come. the debt of pdvsa is about to burst. there are even 60 employees of petroboscan (from pdvsa)in hungerstrike (chavistas btw) who are not being paid for more than a year (!)

  • Well, I will tell you :

Hyperinflation is general increase of prices higher than 50%, and that is not the case in Venezuela, you lied !

Another of yours sick fabrications, I checked on internet .

In fact Venezuela with Chavez on power, had significant economic growth, much higher than your Colombia, that's why you're so jealous, is not it?

But don't despair, maybe one day you will get rid the U.S. colonial rule too, and become a stable and prosperous country.

  • im already glad you check before you talk. unfortunately again i must say you are wrong. the only growth came from the oilproduction. That growth was only possible because the 8 years before 2008 the capitalistic worldeconomie was not in crisis so there was a lot of demand to oil. but ofcourse chavez and his short term vision went that far that he confiscated all the important sectors. result, no investments, even not in pdvsa and because of that less and less productions.

  • specialised companies dont wont to invest anymore because they become confiscated. at this moment the inflationrate for the month november was 27%, the month before it was 33%. thats pretty much close to hyperinflation. but if you red good i said based on 10 years there is 700% (!) inflation. you know what that means. venezuelans were in november 27% more pore than a month before. and that is darned to fast! surtenly if you even dont produce almost nothing anymore

  • Venezuela inflation rate 34.5% in Aug 2008 because of Word economic crisis.

    2009 - 15% expected.

Venezuela GDP - per capita: $13,500 (2008 est.)

Columbia GDP - per capita (PPP): $8,800 (2008 est.)

    Columbia: Public debt: 42.8% of GDP (2008 est.) ! ! ! !

Venezuela: Public debt: 14.4% of GDP (2008 est.) - one of the lowest in the world.

    (dropped from 73.5% in 1998 ! ! ! )

As I said, you are one sick lying US dog! But you forgot that world is global village, and everyone can know anything !

  • i didnt forgot nothing, read the economic report. i just send you. i can not put the link here because youtube ignores messages with a link. That debt venezuela had with the IMF. He payed it off and now he is in big miserie with maintaining elementery sector he confiscated.. and read now the economic report from bsv. in the meanwhile i go to sleep. the public debt is btw funny... they are selling bonos to the ALBA countries. why you think pdvsa is in such big troubles?

  • with other words, im not having sympathie with collombia but if you lay the numbers next to eachother. colombia has a much more diverted economie who is in a rising trend. all sectors are booming. in venezuela 75% is imploding thanks to the beautiful short term vision of chavez

  • i send you a link for the latest economic report from the bcv. I hope you read it.

  • it realy surprises me how you just with no descent arguments try to make a point how wonderfull somebody is. i'm telling you facts, i even can proof them by a lot of testifyings and reports and you just are constantly avoiding the issues. my impression is that you are totally not informed. i think you are just talking blindly in the air. a little bit sad. hitler came in power because of people like you.

  • realy indiferentan, i sugest you type this in on youtube and please dont come with te crap that it was taken out of the context. type in 'Hugo chavez 1998' and tell me in all honestly without blindless defending him if he lied or not. And dont act blind. see the facts and compare with what he is declaring in that interview. btw this video here is pretty creapy. reminds me of mussolini who came visiting hitler at the end of there regime.

  • What happened to the idea of putting henhouses on every roof? How bulletproof is Venezuela's economy against the realities of globalization?

What happened to the investigation of the killers on April 11, 2002? Why are so many opposition politicians in exile? Are human rights estimates correct that Venezuela has 300 political prisoners? Why is Venezuela among the leaders in the world for inflation, homicides and kidnappings?

  • Oh, now you're from Belgium?

How many profiles do you have ?

Tireless Alvaro's Bastard, how you don't get tired of so many idiotic fabrications?

Go with Uribe, run around on White House lawn, maybe your owners will throw you some bone !

  • uhm, i was always from belgium mister indiferentan. the day you answer all this questions i asked instead of giving not to the point coming answers i will take your reactions serious. untill then keep on sleeping.

  • Of course you're not from Belgium!

And your questions are full of sick fabrications and lies.

You probably think, that if you repeat them 1000 times, someone might think that they are true ! But , you know, most of the people ain't stupid like that.

I understand that you are frustrated with enormous worldwide popularity of Hugo Chavez. But ,why don't you just face the fact that he is damn good statesman, and stand in the long line of his yesterday's his opponents who become his supporters?

  • LOL, you have a chavista membercard or what? You are pretty funny. blind like a mole or just payed for fighting against the truth? you let me remind of the iraqi minister of information in 2003. while the american tanks were rolling LIVE in the back of his pressconference, he still was denying iraq had been invaded. to funny! btw how is arne chacon? do you dare to say something about that? or thats also a big fat lie? be carefull with what you say, there is a lot of videomaterial :-)

  • As regard to Iraqi minister- Let me remind you of story that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction! On the wings of that lie, US attacked Iraq and kill around 1 000 000 of Iraqi civilians. So, lies of Iraqi minister were totally benign comparing with lies of US officials.

Today you are making up similar lies about Chavez. But it is vain, because Hugo enjoys enormous support around the world. You can lie what you want, but you just can't rob Venezuelan oil reserves, in the way you did in Iraq.

  • Why is PDVSA producing only 60% of the oil it produced in 1998? In a rich country, why are millions of families still living without adequate housing, water, sanitation and security? Why has cocaine trafficking through Venezuela increased from 50 tons in 2004 to 250 tons today? Why did ranches produce so much meat when they were in the hands of capitalists and so little meat when they were confiscated for government communes?
