Hi Was wondering about this guitar!! I'm convinced! nice to hear some nice tone rather than all that shredding. Should sound nice with my GT10 cheeers
Hey excelent track my friend. I am interested how do you record your music and is it set up, I am bulding a home studio, Have a cheap Boss BR and a Pod Xt but basically want to know if you created those drums with that software because this sound is smooth compared with what i get from the BR.
Lovely sound and track. Mostly thanks to you, I bought one of these guitars a few months ago and I am really pleased with it. For the money, it can't be beaten though I find it pretty heavy on stage. Can't understand where people say it is a light in weight guitar!! Keep rocking!! Pete Glenister
I just put the POD via usb in the pc. Than in the audio settings from fl studio I choose the pod and than in the mixer I choose the pod as input. So I can record direct via usb from the pod.
hey, do p90s have any hum? i don't usually play with a ton of distortion, usually just with overdrive, maybe a little more overdrive than in this video.
thinkin of gettin these pick ups for my Vintage VRS100 guitar. how does it sound on clean is it good for blues, cud i achieve a David gilmore/john furshiontai/hendrix/stevie ray vaughn/skynyrd sort of sound with these pick ups?
guys its a decent guitar, I've played it.. but its mostly about the POD hes playin on, it really gives out the true sound to any guitar, gives it that concert effect.. trust me get one!
@TheMightyCallum if u want to do metallica try the les pauls or the vrs models! u can change the pickups to emg to get more authentic"james" or" kirk" ish sound! seymour duncans (blackouts or jb and 59)sound great with these guitars too. it's not that the stock pickups are bad it's just the one i told u about are more like "metal". I've worked for a jhs dealer and the only thing i don't like about these guitars is the fretwire - too thin for me, but some friends prefer it this way!
wow thats amazing! really reminiscient of Buckethead. did u make that up? its class. I'm thinkin of gettin 1 myself would you reccomend? at the moment i have a Washburn x7 do reckon it would be better than that?
Thanks. I did compose this tack on my own and produced it with fl-studio using some native instruments gear.
I don´t know the washburn, but I would recommend this guitar, because it sounds real nice, has great sustain and it is very affordable. Of course you will find guitars with better workmanship, but if you only search for a good P90 sound here it is.

Hello, you should give a try to EZ drummer for drum patterns, it's way better than Native Battery. Nice composition, very smooth . Good job.

Hello,
I love the sound too. And your playing !!!
I'm not the only one !!!
The P90 are from Gibson ?
what did you use for a preset on your POD?
Thanks !
Have fun !
soaring138 11 months ago
Hi,
Zhanks for your comment! The p 90 are the Original wilkinson P 90 that came with the guitar.
I didn´t use a preset. It´s a self made dual tone setting with a plexi 100 and a plexi 45, some digital delay and reverb.

Please could you tell me how good the tuning is with the wrapover compensated tailpiece?
Thankyou

Was this just the POD or did you use some computer effects as well (ie Compression, 'Verb, etc.)? I've never heard a POD sound this good.
Rouse1994 1 year ago
Hi @Rouse1994,
it`s just the pod no other effects. If you like you can check out me other videos, almost all electric guitar work is made with the pod.

Another example that you don't need to spend thousands of dollars to get great tone. Nice job.

thinking about getting this guitar, i play a lot of metallica stuff, is it worth getting? and how much from the uk?
TheMightyCallum 2 years ago
Hey,
I think for the price (about 200-300 €) it´s a great sounding guitar. Though I think it´s more into blues and rock because of the P90´s.

Sweet tone, nice feel. Enjoyed the sounds!
I have a Vintage V100 that I modded with a P90 at the neck and a high output bucker at the bridge. I think I might pick up a VR100 like yours.

I use the neck pu and the pod X3 [with a combination of two plexis (100+45), a large hall reverb and some stereo delay].
