Okay here are what we've now got over the ten current maps, eight each for both rush and conquest, and 5 each for squad rush and squad deathmatch. This means that unless they release any new maps, we can only have two big "map packs", for rush and conquest, and seven in total. Expect that of those two "big" ones, they will keep at least one of them for when Call of Duty: Black Ops is released. So that pretty much means that we will only see smaller squad mode "map packs" for the next few months.

Before this game was released, the developers said numerous times in interviews and on the forums, they have built large maps and will be modifying sections of these maps for future DLC. I don't know why everyone gets so angry about "why no new maps" when they told you from the start what was going to happen.

The completely new maps are in the Vietnam Expansion, which is coming soon.
