  • the judges said it wasnt very good.. i dont know what the fuck they were watching!:S

  • what is the song?

  • Love the lindyhop!♥

  • Why do people think LIndy Hop is all stunts. Oy.

  • I wish the BBC would have posted these for series 2 as well

  • Hey! Who's done this nice version of It Don't Mean a Thing?

  • I actually really like her dress. I would totally rock that out.

  • I think I saw only one swing out

  • @CTCApollo1 I know right? Lindy Hop is so much more than just big flashy stunts.

  • that was awesome

  • Utter trash.

  • lizzie is the best dance in the hole thing.

  • clumbsy athletic ya but clumbsy...check out frankie manning, now that is lindy hop

  • I love most of the choreographed routines for this show, but lindy hop suffers when you try to choreograph it...and it thrives on improvisation. With all the fancy jumping around, they did hardly any real lindy steps. :( Go watch "Lindy Hop Showdown" and see what lindy is all about. :D

  • @celticbelle I couldn't agree more with everything you said. On top of what you said, I'd like to point out that this routine was almost all charleston, a variation of lindy hop. A true lindy hop routine would have more than just a lot of charleston kicking. Also, Lindy Hop is big on musicality. This dance didn't really show any kind of musicality. The dancers did a fantastic job with what they were given; lindy hop just isn't something that choreographs well (unless you already dance it)

  • Nice ^^

  • good flips!!

  • wow!!!l LOL!!!!!!

  • this is AWSUM!!!!

  • what is the name of the song?

  • null points because flash player has destroied the capacitors on my mainboard by driving the cpu with 86 percent load during idle mode.

  • sorry guys this dancing wasnt the best again but you guys really pulled out a great performance, you both performed it well, just need to work on the dancing.

  • Ok this is quite cool but check out "Swing Dancing from the Movie Hellzapoppin (1941) it will blow you away.

  • @cymondo Oh, I saw many many times :D Btw I'm Lindy hop teacher so I kinda now much :)

  • That was awesome!

  • I really like the performance! i thought it was very well done. Personally this isnt my type of dance but this one was good. I liked the way they used up a lot of space on the stage and they had a lot of energy! The structure of the dance was pretty nice and they got the rythm on the dot half of time! :)

  • it was a litlle sloopy

  • that was cute, but too bad there wasnt much actual lindy hop in that routine. i agree with hotohorifan411 - way more props in this show, to mask the fact that the choreography isnt that great (except when they use old dances from the US version) and the dancers are mediocre.

  • what song is this?

  • Also it was kinda offensive and culturally ignorant that the BBC labeled & lumped her as a "salsa dancer" simply because she is latin american. Her training and degree actually is in contemporary/ballet and they knew that - cubans don't learn salsa in school, for them its just a social street dance they grow up with. In fact one of Yanet's old cuban teachers living in London was quite offended by this labeling.

  • I DONT BLAME THE TEACHER! We can see Yanets beauty and grace in Week 1 when she performed the American Fox Trot with Robbie... I thought it was beautiful and there is no way that Yanet would have been able to have the glide need for the American Fox Trot without the contemporary/ ballet skills that she obviously has!

  • Can't believe the comment Sisco made at the end of this performance, to say she was the weakest of the 4 girls when this was the first performance of the night was a low blow and speaks volumes about his personal bias. In fact he has probably been the least objective and helpful of all the judges throughout the whole show, often making blanket judgments with little or no rationale behind it.

  • Robbie with his hair like that looks like my cousin!!

    LOL!

  • I noticed that SYTYCD BBC likes to use a LOT of props and fancy sets, more than usual in the original SYTYCD...I feel like ppl like this b/c of the set than the actual dancing of lindy hop (is this even a popular dance in Britain????)

  • OMG!!! THAT WAS INSANE!!! OMG!!! Nice performance :) I think i will steal some moves :)

  • @jeckieone This is quite cool for today but take a look at '' Swing Dancing from the movie Hellzapoppin (1941)'' you will be Gobsmacked.

  • @jeckieone OK this is quite cool but try this " Swing Dancing fron the Movie Hellzapoppin(1941). it will blow you away.

  • cool very hip hop he's the mad science leader

  • Does anyone think that Robbie is a bit like a male version of Agyness Deyn? And thats a good thing btw! I love Agy! Robbie too! Also Lizzie and Alastair! Okay I will stop rambling now lol =]

  • I'm so upset Yanet left. She was the best in the show, I think, the most versatile, flexible and feminine. She is the best rnb dancer between girls too. And the person, who said she need to lose her weight, is crazy - she is the slimest one!

  • I wouldn't say they were terible. It's just they are the weakest of the couples left but still excellent dancers.Yanet does stuggle a bit with technique so I was not surprised that Charlie was saved over her. Robbie um, I can't put my finger on it maybe it's because he is so tall but his dances look strange in comparision to the other males so I am surprised he was saved over Drew.

  • this was awful i feel bad cause they are good

  • I am suprised Yanet even made it this far... terrible

  • : )

  • BBC rocks!!
