Yukari's attack deals Ran out to the closest attack-able enemy. During this phase, Eirin is invincible, but you can still hit Kaguya. While Yukari is attacking, Ran is spinning up there and hitting Kaguya, causing her to drop those points. You cant kill her, but you can get a higher score :)
This is pretty nostalgic and fun video but it's a bit of a shame the card is really not difficult at all. I'm sure any of you that have cleared it agree with me, it could and should be a bit more difficult, just to make it even more epic!
The music fits this so well. It represents Eirin and Kaguya's desperation. The background+the bullet patterns make it look like they're bending time and space itself to keep the player at bay so their location won't ever been discovered again, to keep from having to be constantly hunted. And towards the end you can tell that they've completely lost all composure. They've nothing left but to spam everything at you, almost like a last ditch attempt to beg you to stop.

@Classof2010RISEarn I know at least one person who's had it happen to them on Kanako's last spell...it happened to me on Utsuho's cause of the giant gravity pull as she dies.

What do you mean, not too much of a difference? Ignoring bullet speed, the second wave (the rotating red bullet streams) cover the entire screen rather than leaving half of it open for you to dodge in, and the last wave is WAAY denser than Easy.
@regalstar first u have to wait that eirin unleash the red wave covering ½ of the screen, after u go to upper right part of the screen and u wait the blue shots,the most difficult is to pass between kagya and eirin since the ray is passing pretty often here,after u got to dodge the red shots,the greens one(i always do a heartbrake there) and the blue one(i alwaysdie like a ****** here^^)hope it helped those who play this.
And of course, I don't have the skill to 1cc Hard or Lunatic to get those ones available for spell practice. I managed to get to Reisen with Reimu solo with the starting lives maxed on Hard, but it's just way hard for me. So I could make it to 6B if I didn't die stupidly early in, but there's no way I would beat Kaguya.
How did you 1cc Hard with Reimu alone anyway, she seems so weak.
I really hate this spellcard. Took me 96 attempts to capture the Normal version with Marisa solo, took me over 200 attempts to get the Hard version. Farthest I've gotten on the Lunatic version was 3 seconds left on the timer, whatever that is in real time. But since I'm only at 92 attempts I figure I probably have several hundred more to go.
Really want it captured cause that would be Last Spell #30. Sure I could unlock Keine's Lunatic one or Reimu's one, but Stage 3 is hard, and Reimu's is too

I posted a video of a 0-second fail scene of mine from PCB extra, but it looks comical in comparison. This video breaks my heart.
That was seriously well done though. Good lord the music and the power behind those two, I think I'd be overwhelmed by how sheerly epic this part of the game is even before anything started flying my way.
Yeah, the attack is simply epic. I remember the first time I beat the game on normal I thought this attack was a joke. I thought that there was simply no way to beat it so it was just there to kill you like one of those scripted battles in an RPG. It made me a bit scared to try the attack for the longest time.
Voyage 1969 and 1970 really are both fantastic pieces of music, too. ZUN's music works so well in game.
Yeah, this is one of the few things in Touhou that frustrated me to the point of giving up. I've had some other keyboard throwing moments, like imagine my no-death Flandre and Mokou Runs but dying on the last attack seconds away from the end, but for some reason this attack was simply not meant to be captured by me =P
This is actually from a while back, I stopped trying to capture this attack because it honestly just annoys me. I'll probably get back around to it whenever I want to get a full capture set in IN.

This card is extremely hard when I first played it. My main problem was that all the graze was blocking my view of the hitbox. >.<
It got a lot easier afterwards though. For the last part, just stay in one of the corners.

The big thing here is I actually did it *3* times.
Probably my most frustrating failure is losing a life on QED in my no-death run despite going in with two bombs.
I'm sure most Touhou players have as many epic failures as they have epic victories.

Here is my advice. Seek out Hina. Ask her to collect all your bad luck and curses. Then go find Tei and bring home her foot.
Then try again and you will probably get it.

That was seriously well done though. Good lord the music and the power behind those two, I think I'd be overwhelmed by how sheerly epic this part of the game is even before anything started flying my way.

Yeah, the attack is simply epic. I remember the first time I beat the game on normal I thought this attack was a joke. I thought that there was simply no way to beat it so it was just there to kill you like one of those scripted battles in an RPG. It made me a bit scared to try the attack for the longest time.
Voyage 1969 and 1970 really are both fantastic pieces of music, too. ZUN's music works so well in game.

Yeah, this is one of the few things in Touhou that frustrated me to the point of giving up. I've had some other keyboard throwing moments, like imagine my no-death Flandre and Mokou Runs but dying on the last attack seconds away from the end, but for some reason this attack was simply not meant to be captured by me =P

This is actually from a while back, I stopped trying to capture this attack because it honestly just annoys me. I'll probably get back around to it whenever I want to get a full capture set in IN.
