I've been to Quebec 2 months ago and people there are very friendly and like to help. The only strange thing I found is that many of them speak too little English. That surprized me, knowing that Canada has both English and Frensh together as ufficial language. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

to be fair, its often difficult for francophones outside of Quebec and New Brunswick, because a lot of people only speak English.

Aussie's are great people. They have been our most dependable allies since the end of WW2. Plus their country isn't a boring arctic tundra like Canada, and you don't have to see them burnt like lobsters every winter in Florida.

have you ever seen the outback? compare that to Canada's rocky mountains, or our Boreal forest, or our prairies, or our coastlines (on the west, and east coast), and i guess you've never seen arctic tundra before, it may be sparse, but at night the northern lights are beautiful. I do agree Australia has beautiful land, their beaches are amazing, but don't discount what Canada has to offer.

Totally agree! We Yanks couldn't have nicer neighbors than our Canadian friends.

And they're Real Friends, too -- they not only buck us up when we're down, they help steer us right when we've wandered (or bolted) out of bounds. (And I mean that personally as well as generally. More than one Canadian has got me out of a jam, or said a quiet but perceptive word that was key to a breakthrough.)

What a joke. Canadians continually talk down to Americans. It is hilarious how Canadians are tickled pink about Obama's visit while most American's dont even know who Canada's PM is.
