  • Never played by a real orchestra. WHAT A SHAME!!! ;_;

  • @Hattakiri How do you think they recorded the original version?

    It was an orchestra....

  • @TheBonkuraClan

Are you stupid or something? The original was a midi file. A very high quality midi file actually.

  • @Hattakiri actually the new CD that comes with skyward sword has a an orchestrated version of this song and others from wind waker :)

  • i want to skydive listening to this music XD

  • I and my brother loves this song:)

  • Nice job. I myself love music (i am a trumpeter) and Legend of Zelda so from fan to fan I salute you.

  • wow

    I like that

  • @UltimaXG2 You know what sounds shitty? Your lack of enthusiam and good taste... This is great! Just because you can't make great songs doesnt mean other people can't!

  • @RushVeros Ohhhh nice burn :D

  • cool buddys...

  • It is made with Garageband.

  • This game had such a great storyline.

  • @teh1tronner I know eh? And so much to do as well. I really wanna see WindWaker for the 3DS.

  • Beautiful.

  • The problem is that it sounds like something made with Garageband. :/

  • @UltimaXG2 maybe because it IS made with garageband.

  • @alvinhsu1998 I was implying that it sounds shitty, which it does, because it was made in Garageband. I can tell it was made in Garageband because I've used that particular DAW (or lack thereof) and I've only ever made shitty joke-entry-level things with it. This guy probably only used native VSTs and stuff. Also, you can never make anything that sounds good with Garageband. This is a fact.

  • @UltimaXG2 hah I know what you mean - I don't use garageband anymore. I got east west symphonic orchestra and a few other east west products and I'm much happier with them. In fairness to ME though...this was the very first thing I ever created in garageband, and I'm not exactly a professional here, so of course I only could afford the native VSTs, and how could you expect a (then) 9th grader to create anything more than "joke-entry-level" things.

  • is the bass line strings or low brass?

  • @servbot03 both actually.

  • omg..... where is this technology and where can i find it!!!! all ive ever been able to do is a crappy encore version that sounds like an old cell phone ringer....

  • sucks ass!!! sorry!!!

  • im making a flipnote of this

  • loz wind waker haves INCREDIBLE music. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awsome, Good Job!

  • I love how you added the marimba part! have you ever considered publishing your music?

  • Nice job!

  • For a second, I thought this was fake. Then it got to the main part and I could hear the difference in the trumpet.

  • Ah... this song, so upbeat, fills me with the hope of a bigger a better adventure over the horizon =)

  • This is an awesome remix! 5 stars! =D

  • listening with earphones really.. makes it sound amazing

  • This remix is so great... It makes me imagine sailing across the open waves and dolphins following alongside. Can I have the Mp3? :D

  • *sighs and begins to daydream*

    I really like this ^_^

  • it's amazing. last year i tried to play it on guitar... funny patterns in the base line when you look at the notes it looks like waves. :)

  • After reading the description, did you take a midi version of this song and just changed around the instruments with the ones in the program?

  • In essence yes - witha few other changes too. On the mp3 that I'm now giving out, there's actually a true ending that I made, so the version you see here has less changes to it.

But yes, you are correct. The ultimate point of this song was to demonstrate the sounds of the system for myself.

  • That is awesome. I totally want to use that, but I'd have to buy it. =(

  • This sounds just like, or perhaps ever better, than the original! I get chills just hearing how epic this is.

  • Wow, excellant work! Definitly a program with great possibilities.

Although it's still similar to the original, the added instruments (and volume/intensity) are awesome and it sounds even more epic.

My only real critcism would be that while the main theme got powered up (which is nice), the background chords are harder to hear.

The marimba was a nice addition and fitted well with the song's atmopshere (although I still prefer the original instruments =P).

    Totally favoriting this!

  • Thanks! Now that I think about the volume thing you might be right, but keep in mind that this was only a test of the sounds - I only took a midi and make a few small changes to it, such as the marimba :)

  • wow!

    5/5

  • Very cool, sounds very crisp. Keep up the good work.

  • I like it. =)

  • Lol do One-Winged Angel next! xD

  • that would be epic =)

  • That'd be great, but I can't really do the choir in that....

  • Look for the Papelmedia Choir Aahs soundfont. It's somewhere out there for free. I have a video in my channel that demonstrates it swapping instruments in GarageBand for a MIDI of Dancing Mad. I also showcase my realistic organ setting in GarageBand.

  • lol, I like the marimbas, too

    5 stars

  • nice :D

  • nice

  • Niiiiice =O

I've never heard a "remake" like this quite as good.

  • Me likey.

    5/5 and faved.

  • Wow, this is powerful.

    Fantastic!

  • This is amazing! Much better than the original! You have great talent. I hope you continue to use it.

  • Instant fav.

  • Outstanding, Gronnoc. :)

I'd love to hear more arrangements from you using Garageband.

  • I would say that I am stunned, but then I would be lying. I have come to expect greatness from you.

    Continue with the amazing sounds.
