He does it at 7:26, and 8:20 slower then just goes full throttle at 8:29. I slowed it down once on the dvd and was horrified at how many notes he is actually playing. I can't do it very well but the key is in the picking hand. He does it so fast it almost sounds like strumming but it is definitely not.

The key is to not pick. Haha... I don't play it exactly as Clapton does. He picks more than I do and I do NOT understand how this is even possible.

What I do is simply pick once and hammer on the other two notes. Kinda weird because this is down on two strings.. usually 3rd and 2nd. I only ever strum on the second, I just hammer on the 3rd hard enough to get it to sound (not super hard lol..). I've been trying to develop claptons tech. its hard...
