@spantulous well... u are partly right about this... the release was disaster, buggy problems with balance, problems with gaming designing as well... However, the upcoming changing patches and upcoming addon Resurrection will try to solve the main problems with gaming and one of the most important i think, balance of the game.

Disciples II was epic but this a looks little more like HoM&M witch I like also... but disciples was so good because of it's epic backgrounds and units and all that, and it's awesome it's not 1k units-in one but a party way more realistic

Graphically D2 was more dark and climatical than heroes but combat system was very primitive(can t even compare to Heroes series), as well as hero development

i played all episodes of disciples and heroes too

and theres a big difference , what is the style, heroes is like cartoons(expect 3) and disciples is serious for me

There is big differences between HOMM and Disciples ... similar combat system?? ... so what ...NOT HOMM was first game which involved that system of combat... and art and all that stuff about design not cartoonish looking like in HOMM. In my opinion Disciples much more better than HOMM...

Even if the combat system is not like in D2 and reminds that one in HoMM5, i think that all those moves, combats, arenas and units look far better in D3 than in HoMM

If you play D2 and Homm5 and you look at the trailers you will realize that the combat in D3 is 90% from Homm5... were is the original game? Every RPG is not Diablo, but D3 is more Homm5 and far away from the origin from D2...i play a game, any game ,for his original idea and because is different an it has it's own magic...i don't know who is the "newbie" here man..

it looks too good, but yeah, as Edenhyde said, it looks different from last games when looking the battle and heroes. that is the problem with most new games. they lost the magic of old games

I like the look of this game more than Disciples II, because the art is closer to the look and feel of the original game, which I adored.

I'm not sure about what they've done to the unit leaders, though, or how you can move around in battle and have dozens of units in a party. It seems to have defeated the purpose of Disciples.

well as I know it will be released on May 29th or near to this day..... game is ready and it was presented today on gamers festival "KRI" in Russia. However, there is possibility that just Russian version is ready and hopefully it will be released as they promised.I am not sure about English version. However, I am not going to wait until English version comes out.. ^^

Ciekawie się to prezentuje,miasto demonów nie jest tak klimatyczne jak elfów ale i tak jest niezłe.Zastrzeżenia mam do pracy kamery (czyżby nie było zoomu?!) i do tych nagrobków na polu bitwy-to dobrze wygląda w Wormsach ale w Disciples to beznadziejny pomysł:(
