@richards2eloisa Hey, thanks for the positive feedback! Perhaps I'll continue recording tutorials. I was mostly just testing the recording software. It seems like I have some underlying audio/video driver problems and now plan to find a workaround.
A cool thing that you can do with this technique is set it as object hair for another object. For instance, you could make a frog with glowing green spots all over it's body. If you really wanted you could weight paint it too.
