Stimulus package is full of Demo pet projects and does nothing to actually address the root of the problem. We need changes made in energy policy (after four year's we will only get 2% of energy from solar and wind combined!) and tax strategy (give people buying homes a 15,000 tax break, so people have incentive to buy up those foreclosures).
Instead we're going in the wrong direction by mandating clean coal and taxing the earners and businesses even harder. Yuck.

The problem is the humans that believe in it. Subverting it ever since it's inception for their own gain. Any true "god" would never require worship, alms or idols. They need someone to show them how to live. Look at all these kids having babies and getting Government assistance. I see it everywhere and it makes me sick. i posted something that didn't show up. it was that global warming is happening. the debate is if humans are the biggest cause. theres other greenhouse gases that could play a bigger role. One thing that I know for sure is that the pavement and such that we lay down absorbs heat and heats the earth. Does it have a huge impact? idk. sorry for that ignorance.

Me and all of my so called "right winger" friends opposed the bailout as well. I said they should let the banks go belly up, but no, we the people bailed them out. Funny, I don't remember voting for the bailout. But I did vote against the stimulus, because i voted for McCain. He may have been old, but he was the best candidate for the job.

I guess it's being well received nationally. The market immediately fell 400 points. People are doing their own "bailing out." You Cannot Continue to Tax and Spend it does not work!!! Every time they tax you more they Spend even more than that. That will never help the economy. Bush's Tax Cut's would have worked if the Same Legislature had not continued to spend More than they were taking in, and borrowing from our enemies to keep on Spending Beyond that.

I think that there is too much bad spending probably and besides...This money is probably going to be spent inefficiently like all government spending is. It lacks the profit incentive..Government spending can't be trusted... found out some where that this bill will spend more than $600,000 per job created. How inefficient is that. This country needs to avoid this planned hyper-inflation.
