THE HISTORY ABOUT THIS SONG... There was a shooting spree of 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer, who fired at children playing in a school playground at Grover Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego, California on 29 January 1979. She killed two adults and injured eight children and one police officer. Spencer showed no remorse for her crime, and her full explanation for her actions was "I don't like Mondays" The song was first performed less than a month later.

Her name was Brenda Spencer she was arrested on January 29th 1979 for letting off an automatic rifle at an elementary school in california, 8 people were shot and 2 died, The 2 that died were the principle and another teacher, 6 other 7-10 year olds were seriously injured but not fatal. After 6 and a half hours she gave up and let her self in, She did this all because she wanted to get known and be on T.V. Those are facts btw im doing this in my drama exam so yeah =) Thought I'd share that.
