  • I noticed tension in these scenes and am unfortunately not surprised because they almost canceled the show several times because DS and PSG were fighting alot :/

  • The Starsky and Hutch series is awesome. If it weren't for S&H we would not of seen other shows like Miami Vice. S&H made it all happen.

  • is it just me or do PMG and DS seem angry in these few scenes here? I felt a tension while watching this. I don't know if it was tiredness or frustration or what but they do seem agitated for some reason

  • @ClassicsWEREandARE I noticed the same thing! :/

  • PMG obviously directed this one! It's unmistakable.

  • The episodes directed by Paul Michael Glaser have that eerily dark atmosphere and distinctive "feel." What a talented man.

  • Two episodes I'd like to see again. Only saw them once, at their original airing. One was Starsky hunting for Hutch but I don't remember why. It has a scene where he's out talking to the search party, saying, "I'd hock my Torino to get Hutch back"...The other, Starsky shoots a woman hiding in a bush. Her father comes to Starsky and says, "You could have killed her." Starsky replies, "I could have, but I didn't." I think both eps were from the last season.

  • @nixthetiger i'm sure you probably found out already about the episodes in question in your comment but i'd thought i'd help a little anyway in case you haven't found out. I do believe you've smooshed a few episodes together. The "hock my torino to get hutch back" was THe Plague episode where hutch is sick and Starsky looks for the carrier of the plague. then the one where starsky shoots a woman is Blindfold but there isn't a father. A father one is prob I Love You Rosey Malone. hope that helped

  • @ClassicsWEREandARE Thank you.

  • @nixthetiger The second episode that you referred to is called "Class in Crime". It has been uploaded to YouTube by Oldies09. It's a great episode, directed by Paul Michael Glaser. BTW, the old gentleman wasn't the girl's father; he was her lover!

  • @andrewt1on1 Thank you.
