Karthik is very promising singer. He has given some exceptional melodies in Telugu as well.

There is no need to compare. The truth is Hariharan has some music knowledge and his voice is not ideal for playback singing. His voice in high notes tend to sound shrill and not suitable every actor.

It is not a question of who is better than who. Sure, Karthik might not be able to sing a ghazal like Hariharan, but there is no way Hariharan can pull off a Chillax either. Each song and each singer is unique, alright? Just move on and let rest of us enjoy the music in peace.

we cannot compare singers.. but just like that if you compare... hari is the best.. karthik's voice is very sweet.. thats the reason he is doing so well at songs.. Hari.. chanceless.. all the sangadhi's and texture will come very well to him.. Karthik itself said in one interview that Hari is his role model.
