I´m portugues,at least thirty percent of its population is of Portuguese Jewish descent are the sons of the Jews converted by the Inquisition, today the majority of the population is Catholic, but the Jewish presence is cooking, customs and way of being of Portuguese

That sounds like an gross over-estimate considering that the pre-expulsion the Jewish population of Spain was under a quarter of a million and well over half of those who left migrated to the Muslim world (Morocco, Egypt, the Ottoman Empire etc.) Has anyone tested a sample of the Portuguese population for Sephardi markers or are your estimates based on the historical record?
