They are trying to spread awareness about this issue, and some founded the Islamic Speakers Bureau in order to educate muslims on how to correctly spread truth about their religion. Just give it some time. Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world, and those who do know the truth about it know it's far from barbaric.
