Recognizing ADD and ADHD in Children

First and for most...my five year old has this disease.He struggles with it everyday.How do you know what children like my son go through unless u have experienced it.I deal with it everyday and no matter how much patience you have it is very difficult. On top of its heartbreaking to hear my five yr old say "I just cant help it, I dont want o be bad or do things, I just can control it". One the hardest things to hear as a mother! Don't judge unless u know the facts!PLEASE

i think this is jst a way 4 doctors to get money 4 the meds i was dignosed w/ adhd but i think this is stupid im 12 and i dnt think i have it at all i do get in troble alotttt and im hyper but every kid is.

OMG.. A deciese (or whatever it's spelled) :O So not true. And it's more of a concentration problem than a behaviour problem. I have the diagnose ADD.

From my point of view this vid was very negative and put the diagnose in a negative light.

Children with ADHD can also have an advantage with their hyperactivity and creativity, that also goes for ADD. And yes... medicines DOES help if you find the right one.

Not only I don't see this clip negative, but I see it very helpful. It is true and this disorder (not disease) does exist. I think only the tone of the main speaker is unkind and rigid, but the information sounds genuine. If my parents knew I'm affected with it when I was a child, things would've been different in my life.
