i live in the us and i remember this commercial. i had the big bangs and bigger hair. lots of hairspray to get that. i figure i am responsible in part for the hole in the ozone layer.
excellent, love the music and the ads. I think the best bit is when the woman puts a big dollop on her hair and spins round to show us the greasy looking flat hair at the back! not a good look!
Hehe... Just so you know, the print on Silverchair's album cover would be referred to as being "Mondrian-inspired." A Dutch painter called Piet Mondrian created the print/composition in the early 20th century, and its been used by many people since; including L'oreal and Silverchair.
how many people do you see walking on the street with THAT haircut?

No wonder the ozone is messed up with all those sprays. We were certainly decadent in the 80's

I begged my mum to buy me some Studio Line gel so I could style my flat-top spike to perfection. Ah, the eighties.

I remember this add.
Nothing says 80's like a moosed quiff.
I was 18 and strangly aroused by the woman playing the Melodica.
Thanks for posting.

This is fabulous... I think I may OD on the sheer 80s-ness of it.
