I currently live in Canada and I'm against SOPA. I believe that the U.S. government already has enough on its plate and that they shouldn't try to control the Internet. I understand how musicians/producers want to make money but in reality, so many people pirate their content that it's nearly impossible to control.

previously laws were in place so that only the user would be affected, the copyrighted video/song would be removed etc. SOPA is looking to shut down the entire website for just one users actions.
There is no way that this act is going to work, it is way to late. IPv6 is coming out with 4 billion new ip's. For example, if you use one school network to create one DNS server for each student there is noway that SOPA could do it
