Hypnosis is only one state. It has nothing to do with alpha and delta. Dreams are not hypnosis. You got the belief thing right. Prayer is just rubbish - Prove it. Of course it's imagination, the rest is as accurate as Blair's chasing WMDs in Iraq and nothing whatever to do with Paul.
