yeah, i knew that thing is crab, and that this vid is one of the best yet (as onnolab) mentioned.
you're quite skilled and you got anything out of the device, but.. yeah you shouldn't really waste your talent on such a crappy thing you could do so much more...
sorry for tellin you this (I guess that Tempest wasn't quiet cheap) but, i had to
hope you don't take that too serious, just sayin..
@onnolab Thanks! You won't regret saving up for one. But you should at least have some knowledge of synth programming and drum machines to get the most out of it.
@onnolab Just saw you channel (and your (previous?) gear) and I'm sure you will have a great time with it. I owned most of them. Especially the RS7000 was a great machine, but it lacked the sound.
@RoonanTV thanks, dude. i had owned the mopho, evolver, MPC and some analog synths before. the tempest will quite replace all of them which i miss so much since i moved to software! keep the vids coming, i'm subscribing
@RoonanTV well, once midi clock in works I thought we should plug together some of these babies and start rolling! distance might be a problem, but the netherlands aren't that far away so why not!
@aikighost : It can be depending on the type of sound you're looking for. The six voices can be a restriction for long notes as notes get stealed and cut of. You can fix this by assigning dedicated voices to pad sounds. But if you're in for thick layered chords then I would say no. Then I would hook up a Tetra or something along with it. For pumping dancetracks however I'd say this is the bomb!

Should be nice to do some kind of jamming online with webcams, shared audio and midi sync...

Fantastic demo - sounds like John Tejada quite a bit.
Pity this thing is nearly 2K...

@fimpson John who?
Did some research and I'm listening to end of time right now. Thanks for the compliment! I really like his sound and see the resemblance.

@fimpson BTW do you know Bluetech? It's sounds a lot like John Tejada too.

@RoonanTV I'll check it out. Thanks!

How is the tempest for doing evolving pad type noises? Can it be an all in one solution for making tracks?

Great stuff, masterful programming on the groove and arrangement. I bet that video sells a bunch of Tempests! I'm loving mine!

@Puzzlegob: Thanks! I'm loving mine more and more each day.

Did you at 2:10 switch on the KP3 and is it only on one of the outputs?
dreamprobe 3 months ago
@dreamprobe That's correct, but it's on both the main outputs. It's just a simple filtered delay effect.

Nice beat's!

Smooth beat, thanks for posting. I heart my Tempywempy. LMAO
