  • Great info man! I like your 'no B.S.' approach here. Keep the vids coming.

  • @brayndeded thanks it who i am 100% real

  • Old school........expensive wools and versatile cottons, until I had to crawl on my belly in a creek bed. Foot-wear was a combination of Elk hide boots, water proof inserts, wool liner, and wool socks. Historic realistic re-enactments can awaken the common man to a greater need, beyond corporate rebellion. WWII surplus sucked............thanks for informing this old man about more improved apparel.

  • Excellent video Bro.. I, too, prefer my synthetic warmth layers.. lighter and just as warm.. and generally dry faster. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

  • You might be right I can not say anything bad about my old gore-tex parka it lasted 14 years

  • I have both poly pros and the underaumor cold gear both work great. I do not wear the gortex parka anymore only because I have worn mine out ( 4 years in the marines and then ten after that ) I invested in a cabelas outfitter series wool parka it has a water proof lining and seems to do me well. If its cold on those hot days I just get wet( it's refreshing)

  • @charbeckgram great stuff gore-tex is i have the cabelas wool camo coat with hood too i dnt think its gonna last in the woods gore-tex is way tougher

  • I use the polypro tops and bottoms with a lined goretex parka- good to go.
