California Debate: Humane Immigration Policy

I voted for Obama but now that he's been president for 3 years I seriously wonder if we may have been better off voting for Hillary. At the very least I'm sure she has much bigger cojones than he does. He's such a wuss when it comes to standing up to the republicans.

True "la raza" means the race. But, "La Raza" means Americans, people born in the New World. La Raza is synonym of "Americanos" since 1500. Oct. 12th is La Raza Day in the rest of the American continent. 1st choice was American Day, 2nd choice was Hispanic Day. They din't want to use Hispanic Day because it implied Spain. They couldn't use Americanos because you KNOW. So they got stuck with La Raza thanks to Spain and the US of A. SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE "LA RAZA", CHANGE IT FOR "AMERICANS"

From CNN (Sept 12, 2007): ICE: Tab to remove illegal residents would approach $100 billion: "It would cost at least $94 billion to find, detain and remove all 12 million [undocumented]...An ICE spokesman later said the $94 billion did not include the cost of finding illegal immigrants, nor court costs -- dollar amounts that are largely unknowable." The non-U.S. world watches ICE raids and shakes their heads in disgust. Isn't ethical immigration reform a better AND way-less-expensive option?

Call your Democratic Party in your state; find out where and when caucus for Obama will be held near you! In order to vote for him, he has to win the Democratic nomination!
