funny they dont do like the BATHURST RCMP AND DNR THEY KILLED 3 MOOSE WITH ONE TAG GAVE ONE AWAY AND PUT ONE UNDER A TREE TO GET SPOILED BY THE SUN.. WAY TO GO TO THE RCMP ON THIS VIDEO FOR NOT DOING THANK .. GOOD JOB....
moose are dangerous when they have a reason to be. they are always in my backyard (i live in alaska) and i know to stay inside my gate and be very quiet and not bother them. they do nothing wrong, and this is very sad...poor thing :-(
well if we didnt build houses on every sq in of the world we wouldnt have this problem, Leave the fuckin moose alone its not his fault he has nowhere to go.
3 RCMP cars, are you serious? And what are you doing with the rifles boys? Did you take the time to appoint one officer to explain it was a tranq. rifle so people wouldn't panic. And did you have someone on crowd control instead of letting them chase this poor animal up and down the street? Stick to law enforcement because you obviously don't have a clue about nature. You intimidate the animal more than help it. Whoever the lady was...what do you think you would accomplish by screaming......
I agree 10000% there was no need of what happened to that moose that day , no DNR showed up and just yelling and screaming , left moose alone it would have gone back into the woods.
@Newschaser ya ok ..like people are just gonna leave it alone and ignore it...huge moose running around and u think people are justr gonna walk by like nothing is going on...u r such a fool

The police get concerned because sometimes the moose that wander in have a brain parasite that makes them very unpredictable. They sometimes even attack. Mooses that have no problems (age, parasites, etc.) are almost always smart enough to completly avoid cities and humans. We are not "out of touch". Do not pretend they are not dangerous.
Wow, I heard about this. i remember in 1984 or 1985 I spotted a bull (bovine) on Besborough that had escaped from Hub, but I never saw a moose in town personally.
back in late 60s a cow got loose from hub down salisbury rd. i was a little girl and was walking home from store heard hoofs behind me. turned around and right behind me was this bloody faced cow. it had been hit by a car/ a passing car stopped and blew horn and it ran into the bush.
yes your right but they called and it was a sunday and no one showed up from that dept. and the man that did show up from the zoo had dog and cat tranq gun so Moncton not ready for something like this although I have seen Moose in the city many times over the years.
Heh, i bet those folks in the white suv were like,
"Aww Shiieet! MOOOOOOSE!!!!"
