@maplefreak26 oh yeah, you can do anything. they will make your food any way you want it, with whatever dressings, how you want it, how you want your fries, what dressings for your fries if any, ANYTHING, and it's all made to order, fresh for you. i went to san diego with a couple of friends last year, and we went to that place almost every other day. since then, there's nothing that even closely compares to the in-n-out. hands down.

I can see why they want to limit the amount of patties and cheese you can get. They have to carefully inventory and anticipate the amount of food they expect to serve that day if they serve everything fresh. They can't have 500 patties on hand and have someone wander in saying they want a 400x400 and not have anything left for the other customers. Once a burger is thawed it's only good for a day or two so you can see why they would not want anything left over or run out before the day is done.
