  • He reminds me of toby turner.

  • 100,000 view! Wort wort wort!

  • Sam is a real G.

  • I say "Drag-WUN", cus that's how Tolkien pronounced it.

  • Those are HUGE d20 dice at 1:48

  • Personally, "comes into play" sounds better and makes as much or more sense to me as "enters the battlefield." I guess I'm biased and old. Also, to say "we do this only once every 10 years" is kind of silly since the game hasn't even reached it's 2nd decade yet.

I suspect many old folks will still use the traditional terms for a long time to come.

  • i want one of those big ass 20D!

  • i have no idear what the fuck he was saying in 6:20 minutes -.-

  • i like the old sets better like 9th edition

  • I just got here from the Official Wizards site... After making a quick search, I noticed that they didn't have any famous video about the new rules such as Damage that no longer goes to stack, the extinction of Mana burn ect...

So I was wondering if a relative video will be uploaded...

  • MTG is awesome.

  • Ugh what the fuck.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

  • @losersalwayswin but it was broke, so they did fix it...people were confused about some things, and that cleared it up

  • Whatever, these new words can kiss my ass I'm not using this shit

  • -newbe- where can i buy them big dice?

  • I can't believe you idiots are actually arguing over how "Dragon" is pronounced.

  • why play music while he talks?

  • Drag in? Drago!!!!

  • I pronounce it as "drag in".

  • hi i need help i really want to start maigc the gathering could any one help me plz i got £20 to spend on the cards or what ever i need

    Cheers for reading =)

  • Why don't you play MWS it's free and you don't have to spend a fortune on cards...

  • MTG is amazing, id never leave it for another card game

  • @bobbyz1020 MWS is not another card game. It's a program designed to play MTG for free.

  • It's Drag-un you nitwits.

  • where the hell are you guys from he said it just fine.

  • bah you're all wrong everybody knows that it's Dag-ron not Dra-gon...

next you'll be saying its bar-bar-ian not Bab-rab-ian

  • Arg, Go look up Puff the Magic Dragon.

  • OH GOD I JUST WANT TO MURDER THIS GUY

  • You should be fired for fucking up the word Dragon. 3:03...

  • Blah, it's like right in the middle of 3:02 and 3:03 ..did youtube update it where you can put in the time and it goes to it? o.o

  • no he didnt... you should be suspended for trolling. have you ever heard of alternate pronunciation?

  • Never heard dragon being pronounce, and before I even posted I sent a few friends this video and they was like WTF?

  • Omg I fail, I left out some stuff. Never heard dragon being pronounce like that before.

  • He did not mispronounce the word. I've never heard anybody else say it other than "dray-gone"

Do people pronounce it like "Draw-gone", "Droh-gone" or something odd like that?

  • Some pronounce it like "drah-gone" (more specifically where I'm from), but I've never heard it pronounced "dray-gone" before. :P

  • Huh. If I heard someone say it "drah-gone" I would find it odd, so it makes sense that "dray-gone" sounds odd to others.

I live in the US, in the middle west. Could be an accent thing. Where do you live? England?

  • I live in the Northeast US myself. I guess when I say "Drah-gon" I mean more along the lines of the "ah" sound like in "apple" rather than the "ah" sound like in "father". :P

  • *shrugs* it really doesn't matter, as long as no one says "Droh-gun", which would sound rather odd to me ^^;

  • lol, I couldn't imagine ANYONE saying it like that. xD

  • RIP - damage on the stack, you will be missed...

  • wat!?!?!? most of this, just changes what it is called...... except for the Exile part

  • In my opinion, some of the new changes should've remained out of the game. Terms like "battlefield" aren't making the game in more fun. In fact, it demotes the game itself to things that a child would play. I'm also peeved that they got rid of the stack during the damage step. Getting rid of that seriously reduced the amount of tricks and shenanigans that can be pulled to turn the tables of a game. Once again, it dumbs down the game because it was "too hard" for some people to understand.

  • Its only fitting. Considering that the Deck is called Library and Discard Pile is Graveyard.

As for getting rid of the stack during the damage step - maybe I'll have more than four other players who can understand the rules around me now. It allows for less experienced players to not look like newbies. I started at Scourge, and still got treated like a newbie all the way up to Morningtide for not abusing these little tricks that M:TG is finally getting rid of.

  • Ok. Good they cleared it up. Now if only the next block is interesting, I actually buy from it.

  • NOT everything works the same way it did. The RFG was outside of the game, so the 'wishes' could pull things from there. Changing it to Exile is a functional change that brings that zone into the game, so one can no longer target cards in this zone with things like Ring of Ma'ruf. Outside cases that won't affect standard or new players, but certainly this is not merely a terminology change.

  • I wonder if you can buy that mtg playmat anywhere?

  • lol this guy can't read what he has to say and look at the camera at the same time ihih
