Reduced production means less to confiscate, thus a greater percentage is confiscated to meet the ever growning needs. With the circle complete, communism creates and fosters dependency while it fairly and evenly distributes misery.
Of course it never works as a class-less society at all and those at the top are determined not to have any misery distributed to them... evenly or otherwise. And so you get a dictatorship and all the fun that goes with that.

Karl Marx wasn't a communist, he wasn't even a marxist(=not the same thing)(he was just trying to explain what he thought was going to happen). There are 2 main ideas of what socialism is: Communism in Das Kapital was just a stadium between capitalism an socialism(his goal). Nowadays(and at that time in Western Europe) socialism meant what it means now: Social Democracy.

Reduced production means less to confiscate, thus a greater percentage is confiscated to meet the ever growning needs. Needs multiply as those who would have otherwise been producers join the ranks of the dependent. With the circle complete, communism creates and fosters dependency while it fairly and evenly distributes misery.

@oxysis Unlike other people on this forum I do know what socialism is all about, and I know the history of socialism. Karl Marx wasn't a communist, he wasn't even a marxist(=not the same thing)(he was just trying to explain what he thought was going to happen). There are 2 main ideas of what socialism is: Communism in Das Kapital was just a stadium between capitalism an socialism(his goal). Nowadays(and at that time in Western Europe) socialism meant what it means now: Social Democracy.

About socialism and religion: socialists nowadays can be religious, but before the nineties the church would try to do everything possible to make socialism look bad.
