There is a strange painted circle atop a peak overlooking the San Fernando Valley a little off of the trail. You have to go through the little cave thats at about 3:26 in your video and continue up along the rocks for a while. I want to know what the circle is. If I go anytime soon, I'll try to get pics/vid...
No, didn't get to the area you mention, above the cave. Sounds interesting though. Is it something to designate which city the area is in? Or just graffiti? Anyway, thanks for watching!
finally went there. it was amazing seeing the huge boulders.

Thanks! You can exit at the Rocky Peak Rd. exit, two miles west of Topanga. Just turn right and then park at the dead end.

This is the north side of the 118. It's 10 miles west of the 405, and 2 miles west of the Topanga Canyon Rd. Exit on the 118.
