Here's something you might find interesting, "averynicecat" is actually one of the founders of the sims that World of Hogwarts is competing with. So take what he says with a grain of salt.
@BayaLiberty - where were YOU when people were struggling to tell you how they were being treated poorly by admins? The "grievances" were a joke, as are the "elections". You violate the TOS by sharing logs with other people without the person's consent and you talk shit about everyone behind their backs. What kind of RPG calls itself the one that's "created for the fans, by the fans" when it treats its members like shit?
Why should anyone even bother supporting a place that stifles freedom of speech and promotes violating the ToS? I should also add, why should someone risk having their personal information as an INNOCENT MEMBER abused by a GM and be stalked by them in RL? This is sickening. I hope everyone reads this comment and knows just how awful you guys operate. Don't like what I'm saying? Too bad. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

people still commenting on this? WoH is still around guys grow up. It will be around long after I leave it too so no point in even commenting. Are you guys sitting infront of your PC screens with your fingers crossed at the end of the month hoping that place doesn't make tier? Well I can tell you don't waist your thoughts. A lot of RPers have found it nice to have 2 places to RP at. Some viewers can't handle one Sims textures and some can. All in all let people decide for themselves yeah?
Also stop calling yourself "the oldest HP RPG around". The only thing the same about WoH is the name, the management has changed and the sim has gone downhill.
It's pretty comical that WoH's OOC staff are suddenly commenting on this video and liking one anothers' comments. Why even stay open if you can't pay for your sim? There's a difference between asking for and sending out ten notices for donations. WoH treats its members like shit and only just started doing damage control when H:YS opened. Even then WoH isn't being discreet about copying about every thing H:YS does on their sim. Even the new commons are based on H:YS's. Reeks of desperation.

@epitomeoflulz to comment on your Commons bit: The Common rooms were the first things finished before the castle was built. They were made ages before YS even opened. The Chief Eng left and decided to at least donate the commons to the sim (He was waiting to release both castle and commons at same time.) Its pretty comical on your part though to /attempt/ to bash one sim and promote another.Grow up. YS has a Great Publicity department they don't need your lame attempt to promote it.
The Game Managers at World of Hogwarts are ALL chosen by the members, no exceptions and the members can also choose to petition a GM out any time they choose. This has been the case ever since the rpg was founded and as far as I'm aware, wont ever change. Personally I think this system is the reason this PARTICULAR rpg has been around for so many years and out-stayed many others, because it effectively BELONGS to its members and not to any one individual with overall control over everyone else.
@spellywelly Yes, it is a donations-run rpg, but this simply means that the sim will continue to exist while members feel it is worthwhile donating to it, and that they will decide when (and if!) it is time for it to close.

I'm astounded at the depths of some people. Have a problem with a certain group? Don't join. Don't like the way a Sim is run? Don't join. Don't like the people in a certain group? Don't join. It's not rocket science.
Want to join an RP based around the HP books and maybe have a laugh in the process? Come have a look at WoH, H:YS and a handful of smaller groups on the grid. You might not like us (though I'm sure you will) and that's ok. Just don't base your opinions video comments :)

Onto the GMC Forum bit, Its complete and utter Bull. An Old GM deciding to Comment on an Old WoH video miraculously after a new HP sim opens? Convenient? I'll leave it at that. I'm one of the 5 GMs in WoH. I started as an RPer when it first opened in 08' And It was amazing. In 2010 I became NMML (Person in charge of the Applications) In November of that year, Members, I repeat, MEMBERS voted me into the position of GM.
WoH has Always Been donation run. And yes, GMs do Donate too. WoH is run by members who were voted in, not friends. (Though we are friends now) WoH will always have people dedicated to it (Cont..)
Those who go talk bad I'm sure as anyone can imagine are the griefers that get in trouble and kicked out. They never learn, let's go blast an old youtube vid. Be an individual and think for yourself. Come to witchcraft sim and see for yourself, rather than left others make your judgements! Be an individual not a follower!!!

World of Hogwarts is the Premier HP Sim run for and by its members. As the only sim fully run by its members, we have the unique advantage of having every voice heard. The sim is owned by the GM Council, who are elected from the members.
I used to be part of the GM council and they had a special forum to discuss their members (only viewable to GMs). The amount of trash talk and disrespect that was on that forum is unbelievable, and one of the GMs went as far as to posting personal information about a member and stalking them IRL. Some of the GMs stole money from donations, and it's a shame that they've been "begging" for more money. It's disgusting and corrupted.

World of Hogwarts is a roleplay sim in Second Life, as the above poster said. It's sort of like an MMORPG version of Hogwarts, in 3D. It's just like running around in a video game version of Hogwarts. There's a castle, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, Godric's Hollow, and a Quidditch pitch with live games (that are great fun!)
