@dinasty68 The czar opressed and murdered his people, conquered others, killed the jews and on top of that let capitalist buisinessmen take advantage of them. When they protested the first time, they were completely peacefull, and even carried pictures of him out of respect...He slaughtered them and then sent them off to 2 horribly tragic wars to die for his ambitions. The Soviet Union was cruel, but the Czar was far worse and the revolution and even Lenin had NEVER expected Stalin's betrayal.
@hitlerfishiscoming4u While your rant has great comedic value, it is lacking in intellectual value. Instead of parroting slogans could use facts to back up your statements ?
@ImperialRussianGuard Your the one belittling, I GAVE you events but I suppose I have to dumb them down for you anyways.
The 1905 revolt, look it up and see what happened. Then look up the 1917 revolution BEFORE the Octoboer revolution. Look up the RussoJapanese war, then look up Russias military success in WW1, it was non existent and they lost 1 million people. Then look up the Russification and Pogroms. Anything else? Of course all your concerned with is attacking the USSR not thinking.
You do realize that the February revolution occurred the Russian army was winning ?The Russian consistently defeated the Ottomans and the Austrians. The Germans were indeed very good soldiers, however events such as the Brusilov offensive, Battle of Vistula river, and the Battle of Gumbinen show that the Russian army was a force to be reckoned with.In the Russo-Japanese war the Japanese casualties were twice that of the Russians. By the end of the war Japan was exhausted.
@ImperialRussianGuard The war was mostly WITH Germany, and with every day they lost tons of land. The Czar only cared about power, when they attempted to make him bring in a DUMA (Parliament.) he dissolved it, when they asked for bread they were shot, by the hundreds. These are facts, I don't even understand how any person could honestly be so blind as to want the Czar back or even respect the horrible things he did. DO YOU HAVE ANY CARE FOR HUMAN LIFE? Do you SUPPORT anti-semitism?
Actually the Russians lost the most land under the democratic government and then the incompetent Bolsheviks during WWI. Even at it's worst moments, the Imperial army controlled most of Poland,Ukraine and Lithuania. However after the Revolution the army fell apart. There is nothing wrong with dissolving parliaments, In fact I wish the Queen of England would do just that once in a while. You claim that he shot people when they asked for bread. Give me a specific example of that.
@ImperialRussianGuard Once again back to the military...You know what, congradulations, the Czar's regime were great at killing people. So that definately proves that he is a good and caring leader. Because who cares about the fact that his people had no money and starved. You want another event? Have I not given you so many which by the way you haven't even commented on, all you did was revert to the one area I was wrong, which was unimportant in the first palce. BLOODY SUNDAY. look it up.
Starved? You do realize that not only did the annual agricultural output grew quicker than the population did, but also mortality rates greatly fell in that period. If everyone was starving and dying why would this be happening?
The reason I didn't address your other claims was because of Youtube's text limit. So I decided the answer the one I deemed most important.I however I can see that you are impatient. So if you would like I could comment on all of them for you. However you should be prepared to read a considerably large amount of text.
And since you're throwing some amusing indignant hysterics I might as well address them also. Yes, I do care about human life, just like our benevolent Tsar Nicholas II. Nicholas II often expressed how deeply he cared about the Russian people in his diary. And the reforms that he enacted in 1906 shows that he had a genuine wish to help the common Russian. That is why I also oppose the Marxist ideology. In the 20th century no one killed more people than the followers of this perverted dogma.
@ImperialRussianGuard He dissolved the reforms...He never listened to the Duma in the first place and only even made them because of the 1905 protests which weren't going to stop unless he made them.
Now to address your claim on Bloody Sunday. You are aware that Nicholas II wasn't even in St.Petersburg at the time? He left on January 8th for Tsarskoe Selo. There is no evidence that he ordered for the soldiers to fire. In his diary he wrote "A painful day. There have been serious disorders in St. Petersburg because workmen wanted to come up to the Winter Palace. Troops had to open fire in several places in the city; there were many killed and wounded. God, how painful and sad."
@hitlerfishiscoming4u With your mathematical talents it's no wonder that you are a communist. Only a person who thinks 2+2=5 could support such an ideology.
@ImperialRussianGuard Who the hell says I'm a communist? Because of my picture? I just happen to think that the Hammer and Sickle is cool. What I am is an enemy of totalitarianism, both the soviets and the Czar I despise. Both were murderers, both obsessed with power. You, however, are more concerned with the romantic image of monarchy to even realize it's horrible truths. There is no divine blood, science has proven this, and if Monarchs work so well why is America so rich? We NEVER had one.
Well when one adorns their channel with marxist symbols,I could be forgiven that you are a marxist. An enemy of tyranny ? Do you oppose the tyranny of majority ? Or do you blindly worship democracy as if it were a god ? Unfortunately for your claim, romanticism has little to do with my support for monarchy. However I am sure that your demonization is what fuels your views on it. The reason America has been able to prosper is because of it's strong merchant class elite.
@ImperialRussianGuard The Hammer and Sickle was made during the Russian Revolution, and had nothing to do with Karl Marx or with Marxism. As for that crap about agricultural productivity it is common knowladge the conditions were horrible, those products were shipped off to the war effort which did not go well because they lost thousands of men a day and alot of ground. These are facts, I did my research 3 times now, you are just making hollow claims and placing things that aren't real in.
The hammer and sickle is a symbol which is often used by communists and other followers of Marx. The agricultural rate grew at an annual rate of 2%, which was considerably faster than the growth of the population(1.5% per annum). Russia was one of the largest producers of wheat in the world. Between the late 1870s and 1906, the mortality rate fell by 6.2 points, while infant mortality fell by 28 points. These are facts. What you are espousing is anything but facts.
@ImperialRussianGuard .5% growth rate, but growth in a shithole economy to a still shitty economy is just that. May I also remind you that in an imperial state the upper class who make up about 10% of any population own most of that. Im not spousing anything other than common knowladge. EVERY military/political history acount my own damn teacher and otherwise says the same thing-Bad war, bad economy. People get pissed. WHY ELSE WOULD THEY HAVE ALL ROSEN UP LIKE THAT? Just face it your wrong.
Between 1898 and 1913, Russia was the fastest growing economy in Europe, with a 96.8 % growth rate. So the Russian economy of that time can be described as anything bad. Well due to Stolypin's reforms that was no longer the case. By 1916 2/3 of privately cultivated land in the Western part of Russia was owned by peasants. What you are espousing is not common knowledge, but democratic propaganda. Primary accounts and some well written secondary accounts debunk most of these myths.
@ImperialRussianGuard China's economy is growing almost just as fast. But I have personally been there and I can tell you it's a shit hole. The measurement of money those in power holds does NOT represent the conditions of the working man. 2% hold 90% of that wealth and you damn well know that. How in the hell is the revolution democratic propoganda? Where exactly are these records and stats coming from, send me a link because I think your full of shit.
I already addressed this claim. By 1916 2/3 of privately cultivated land in the Western part of Russia was owned by peasants. So forgive me If I have a hard time buying into your theory. It is propaganda because those claims are ahistorical and were invented for political purposes. I would have preferred to give you some primary sources, however they are in Russian and only in print. However I found an online secondary source which basically includes most of the same statistics.
Why should I say that I am wrong ? You have yet to bring up a single convincing argument. Your only argument is that what you are espousing common knowledge. I have presented numbers which prove my point, you have not.
@dinasty68 But they deserved to starve and freeze to death while the Czar and his entourage had everything? They deserved to be decimated by the Germans during WW1? The people wanted the revolution, that's why it was successful. What they did not deserve was Stalinism!!! Go read some more, preferably history books from Europe, not North America...
Problem with your theory is that very few people where starving during the reign of Nicholas II .Not only did the annual agricultural output grew quicker than the population did, but also mortality rates greatly fell in that period. If everyone was starving and dying why would this be happening? Also even the revolutionaries thought there chances of success were slim to none. On the very month that the tsar is overthrown, Lenin laments in a letter about how a socialist revolution will not happen
@ImperialRussianGuard Well, the Czar certainly had his people pissed, they don't overthrow functional governments... What I understand from what I've learned so far is that no one in Russia wanted participate in WW1 and that Russia's involvement caused it's economic downfall, thus fueling anti-imperialist sentiment and making it easier to find people willing to overthrow him. I will agree that the communists starved more people than the Czar, especially under Stalin.
@TheAnarchist33 That isn't necessarily true. Emperor Dom Pedro II was overthrown at the height of his popularity and Brazil's prosperity. So one cannot say that people don't overthrow functional governments. When the war began most Russians were very enthusiastic. The Tsar however was not. Foreign minister Sergei Sazanov writes of a discussion with the Tsar, in which Nicholas II laments the coming war. I am glad that we could at least agree one thing.
@dinasty68 I personally think the the tsars secertly wanted a new russia. Why didnt they send in the cossacks when the revolution began? They couldve won before it started.
@dinasty68 Unfortunately, yes they did. My great great uncle Nicholas II and his predecessors weren't very observant of the needs of the populous, they didn't free them from serfdom, didn't grant them proper land, and didn't do anything to help ease the food shortages that happened because of it. As much as I would have loved to see Russia remain a monarchy, there would've needed to be major reforms
@ohnoshedidntw8 I did say "and his predecessors" I know the surfs were freed before, but Alexander gave the freed surfs a plot of land to divide amongst the people of that village. The problem is that they weren't allowed to expand the land, and the populations of the villages continued to increase, so any form of sustainable agriculture died off as the land was dealt in smaller and smaller portions, leading to a very long lasting famine that no Tsar, including Nicholas II, did anything to fix
@sovietsniper6669 True the emancipation didn´t really help the masses of the Empire! i know it´s not my buissness but you said Nicholas II was your great great uncle and I just wondered which one of his siblings were your grandparent!!??
@ohnoshedidntw8 We don't know for sure. The family history on that side is very vague, but we know for a fact that he/she fled russia during the time of the revolution and that he/she changed his/her name from Romanov to Roman
@sovietsniper6669 out of curiosity are you descended from the tsars sister olga(not his duaghter of the same name) I know she lived until 1960 so i am just wondering
@theDENIMMAN Though I suppose it's possible, I don't think so. The history on that side is so vague and no one can seem to tell me much, so I don't think the relative lived as late as the 60s. I blame the family trying to hide from the Bolsheviks on the reason why I can't get much details.
@AndrewtheDuke The Indo-European people came from the Russian steppes. They spread from the outer China deserts-the Tocharians to Ireland-the Kelts & that is only the Western Division. If you are IE then Russia was your ultimate homeland. It is a point in fact the Tocharians belonged to the western division of IE spread the furtherest east.
@TheTollundWoman the czar & all his parasites weren,t moved just cause they were good saints hehehe him & his family as the most of the aristocrats & some of the priests were removed cause they were just a bunch of parasites & abusers of the russian people who was working, starved while those thieves were living in a luxury & exesive privilegiate live on coast of the hunger of the russian people. The revolution was not in vain just was a consequence of this abuse!!!
@klausmann111 The revolution did not air anything, it is clear that the czar was overthrown because it was not what I needed the Russian people, besides being a decadent and corrupt monarchy that only left with hunger and poverty in Russia
@ThePolerbearproducts The song is nice, but your out of your mind if you think communism is anything resembling good. Fascism and Communism had been the blight of the 20th century.
Let's face it, neither communism nor capitalism has proved to be very successful over time. But, hey, just listen to this beautiful music created under a monarchy!!! lol
cause neither provide freedom, both are oppressive and unpleasant for the majorities. party politics is failing miserably, just take a look at the financial crisis due to capitalism worldwide and tell me you honestly think its working. its falling flat on its face, the same as communism and fascism before it, and while you blindly defend it because everyone else tells you to do so, you cant see for yourself just how bad it really is getting and try to change it. use your head
@kenv08 Well you know nothing of the USSR. It was one of the most corrupt societies in the world. Look at India and China. Their incomes and people have improved since they both dropped socialism and adopted capitalism
@DivineInterceptor you see it more today than you did between 1917 and 1991. Russia isnt the police state the USSR was, so the blemishes are easier to see.
@scarface980 communism killed 100 million people. If it was so good, why did millions die and why did so many try to flee. If communism was so good, why did they have to put up a wall to keep their people in?
@gaguy1967 capitalism kills people today the usa is a joke trying to invade other's countries and stealing from the hard-working. Communism didn't kill 100 million people you idiot, Stalin and Zedong did. Learn some history and politics you idiot, they put up a wall in GERMANY because they're old fascists that do not believe in the mighty Soviet hammer and sickle. Communism > Capitalism and I live in the US.
@scarface980 Stalin and Mao were communists. They killed people in the name of communism. East Germany wasnt fascist. It was communist. The wall was built in 1961 to keep people from fleeing communism
1. Germany was probably 'the' country with the least fascistic tendencies after they've lost the war.
2. The wall was built by communists because the numbers of those fleeing the DDR were too much; the nation would've crashed way sooner than it had if they hadn't done that.
Oh, and communism did indirectly kill all those people, since it was done in its name. And it made it possible for these autocrats to rise in the first place.
Communism always failed, still fails and probably will always fail for humanity.
China's just a blatant autocracy with a controlled capitalism now, bearing the label of communism,
Russia turned faster to autocracy (or stalinism) than you can blink, retaining communistic elements in a dictatorship. North Korea...well, I shouldn't have to point out its flaws, now should I?
Cuba? Same thing.
Just face it. Live in one of the countries mentioned above to draw yourself a picture.
If you still wish to remain your idealistic worldview, then at least switch to something that hasn't been already tested and that has failed every major time...and that big time.
You may want to look at other utopian political systems, such as panocracy....at least some of them are feasible.
The author of panocracy at least admitted that the probabilty of his system (or any such utopian system) is simply that: a Utopia (a non-place)
@gaguy1967 Communism killed over 100 Million people. That is right. But before the Communist time? Then it was Capitalism. And there have died over 100 million people from 10.000 BC to 1917 by rule. Capitalism improves some peoples lives, while a WORKING communist state improves all lives. The sad fact is that it does not exist a working Communist state, and it wont either.
May I ask a question? : Aren't soviet and tsar enemy each other?

Give me a specific example of that.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard Once again back to the military...You know what, congradulations, the Czar's regime were great at killing people. So that definately proves that he is a good and caring leader. Because who cares about the fact that his people had no money and starved. You want another event? Have I not given you so many which by the way you haven't even commented on, all you did was revert to the one area I was wrong, which was unimportant in the first palce. BLOODY SUNDAY. look it up.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
Starved? You do realize that not only did the annual agricultural output grew quicker than the population did, but also mortality rates greatly fell in that period. If everyone was starving and dying why would this be happening?
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
The reason I didn't address your other claims was because of Youtube's text limit. So I decided the answer the one I deemed most important.I however I can see that you are impatient. So if you would like I could comment on all of them for you. However you should be prepared to read a considerably large amount of text.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
And since you're throwing some amusing indignant hysterics I might as well address them also. Yes, I do care about human life, just like our benevolent Tsar Nicholas II. Nicholas II often expressed how deeply he cared about the Russian people in his diary. And the reforms that he enacted in 1906 shows that he had a genuine wish to help the common Russian. That is why I also oppose the Marxist ideology. In the 20th century no one killed more people than the followers of this perverted dogma.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard He dissolved the reforms...He never listened to the Duma in the first place and only even made them because of the 1905 protests which weren't going to stop unless he made them.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
Now to address your claim on Bloody Sunday. You are aware that Nicholas II wasn't even in St.Petersburg at the time? He left on January 8th for Tsarskoe Selo. There is no evidence that he ordered for the soldiers to fire. In his diary he wrote "A painful day. There have been serious disorders in St. Petersburg because workmen wanted to come up to the Winter Palace. Troops had to open fire in several places in the city; there were many killed and wounded. God, how painful and sad."

hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
@hitlerfishiscoming4u With your mathematical talents it's no wonder that you are a communist. Only a person who thinks 2+2=5 could support such an ideology.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard Who the hell says I'm a communist? Because of my picture? I just happen to think that the Hammer and Sickle is cool. What I am is an enemy of totalitarianism, both the soviets and the Czar I despise. Both were murderers, both obsessed with power. You, however, are more concerned with the romantic image of monarchy to even realize it's horrible truths. There is no divine blood, science has proven this, and if Monarchs work so well why is America so rich? We NEVER had one.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
Well when one adorns their channel with marxist symbols,I could be forgiven that you are a marxist. An enemy of tyranny ? Do you oppose the tyranny of majority ? Or do you blindly worship democracy as if it were a god ? Unfortunately for your claim, romanticism has little to do with my support for monarchy. However I am sure that your demonization is what fuels your views on it. The reason America has been able to prosper is because of it's strong merchant class elite.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard The Hammer and Sickle was made during the Russian Revolution, and had nothing to do with Karl Marx or with Marxism. As for that crap about agricultural productivity it is common knowladge the conditions were horrible, those products were shipped off to the war effort which did not go well because they lost thousands of men a day and alot of ground. These are facts, I did my research 3 times now, you are just making hollow claims and placing things that aren't real in.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
The hammer and sickle is a symbol which is often used by communists and other followers of Marx. The agricultural rate grew at an annual rate of 2%, which was considerably faster than the growth of the population(1.5% per annum). Russia was one of the largest producers of wheat in the world. Between the late 1870s and 1906, the mortality rate fell by 6.2 points, while infant mortality fell by 28 points. These are facts. What you are espousing is anything but facts.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard .5% growth rate, but growth in a shithole economy to a still shitty economy is just that. May I also remind you that in an imperial state the upper class who make up about 10% of any population own most of that. Im not spousing anything other than common knowladge. EVERY military/political history acount my own damn teacher and otherwise says the same thing-Bad war, bad economy. People get pissed. WHY ELSE WOULD THEY HAVE ALL ROSEN UP LIKE THAT? Just face it your wrong.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago
Between 1898 and 1913, Russia was the fastest growing economy in Europe, with a 96.8 % growth rate. So the Russian economy of that time can be described as anything bad. Well due to Stolypin's reforms that was no longer the case. By 1916 2/3 of privately cultivated land in the Western part of Russia was owned by peasants. What you are espousing is not common knowledge, but democratic propaganda. Primary accounts and some well written secondary accounts debunk most of these myths.
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard China's economy is growing almost just as fast. But I have personally been there and I can tell you it's a shit hole. The measurement of money those in power holds does NOT represent the conditions of the working man. 2% hold 90% of that wealth and you damn well know that. How in the hell is the revolution democratic propoganda? Where exactly are these records and stats coming from, send me a link because I think your full of shit.
hitlerfishiscoming4u 8 months ago

ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@dinasty68 But they deserved to starve and freeze to death while the Czar and his entourage had everything? They deserved to be decimated by the Germans during WW1? The people wanted the revolution, that's why it was successful. What they did not deserve was Stalinism!!! Go read some more, preferably history books from Europe, not North America...
TheAnarchist33 8 months ago
Problem with your theory is that very few people where starving during the reign of Nicholas II .Not only did the annual agricultural output grew quicker than the population did, but also mortality rates greatly fell in that period. If everyone was starving and dying why would this be happening? Also even the revolutionaries thought there chances of success were slim to none. On the very month that the tsar is overthrown, Lenin laments in a letter about how a socialist revolution will not happen
ImperialRussianGuard 8 months ago
@ImperialRussianGuard Well, the Czar certainly had his people pissed, they don't overthrow functional governments... What I understand from what I've learned so far is that no one in Russia wanted participate in WW1 and that Russia's involvement caused it's economic downfall, thus fueling anti-imperialist sentiment and making it easier to find people willing to overthrow him. I will agree that the communists starved more people than the Czar, especially under Stalin.
TheAnarchist33 8 months ago
@TheAnarchist33 That isn't necessarily true. Emperor Dom Pedro II was overthrown at the height of his popularity and Brazil's prosperity. So one cannot say that people don't overthrow functional governments. When the war began most Russians were very enthusiastic. The Tsar however was not. Foreign minister Sergei Sazanov writes of a discussion with the Tsar, in which Nicholas II laments the coming war. I am glad that we could at least agree one thing.

Rotebuehl1 7 months ago
@dinasty68 Unfortunately, yes they did. My great great uncle Nicholas II and his predecessors weren't very observant of the needs of the populous, they didn't free them from serfdom, didn't grant them proper land, and didn't do anything to help ease the food shortages that happened because of it. As much as I would have loved to see Russia remain a monarchy, there would've needed to be major reforms
sovietsniper6669 7 months ago
@sovietsniper6669 LOL You know the serfs were freed in 1861 right?? By Tsar Alexander II, long before the revolution in 1917.
ohnoshedidntw8 7 months ago
@ohnoshedidntw8 I did say "and his predecessors" I know the surfs were freed before, but Alexander gave the freed surfs a plot of land to divide amongst the people of that village. The problem is that they weren't allowed to expand the land, and the populations of the villages continued to increase, so any form of sustainable agriculture died off as the land was dealt in smaller and smaller portions, leading to a very long lasting famine that no Tsar, including Nicholas II, did anything to fix
sovietsniper6669 7 months ago
@sovietsniper6669 True the emancipation didn´t really help the masses of the Empire! i know it´s not my buissness but you said Nicholas II was your great great uncle and I just wondered which one of his siblings were your grandparent!!??

@gaguy1967 capitalism kills people today the usa is a joke trying to invade other's countries and stealing from the hard-working. Communism didn't kill 100 million people you idiot, Stalin and Zedong did. Learn some history and politics you idiot, they put up a wall in GERMANY because they're old fascists that do not believe in the mighty Soviet hammer and sickle. Communism > Capitalism and I live in the US.
scarface980 11 months ago
@scarface980 Stalin and Mao were communists. They killed people in the name of communism. East Germany wasnt fascist. It was communist. The wall was built in 1961 to keep people from fleeing communism
gaguy1967 11 months ago
@scarface980
Shows just how little you know.
Zerkezhi 11 months ago
@scarface980
Zerkezhi 11 months ago
@scarface980
