Sorry for the many posts, but these boxes won't allow much writing. Just know, that MANY, truly spirit filled Christians, do not agree with human or animal cruelty! I wish there was more room here to list all the scriptures that teach not to eat the blood, and to treat animals kindly. When you cook most meat today, large traces of blood still remain and is visible. Most red meat today, is very high in saturated unhealthy fats, while the animal is fed unatural manmade garbage. Do the research.

There is nothing wrong with not eating meat. In fact, it was only granted after mankind fell from Grace from the Garden of Eden. In Gods Kingdom, there is no shedding of blood... including killing of animals. It is the cruelty today, perpetuated in slaughter houses today, that is most disturbing, and is not Gods ideal for us to live by. It also states in scriptures NOT to eat the blood, (read Genesis). Kosher meat is different. Many Catholic saints never ate meat long ago. I am Catholic.

There is nothing wrong with living by more Godly ideals... NOT brutally slaughtering animals the way which is done today. Scriptures teach God loves ALL His creations... including animals. He would not approve of the cruelty perpetuated on them today, and they most certainly do have feelings. You also need to read the FULL scriptures! Yes, mankind has been given charge over the animals, but to do so with loving regard.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat. I love a good medium rare steak with my potato and vegetables. It's about balance. And I think they are out in left field when they equate being a vegetarian with being concerned with the environment.
