hey Im starting to jump a little ramps and i want some tip about it. how many kinds of ramps exist? what is the technic on each one? what could i do on the air to correct my position?
i just got a new bike i had pivot problems on khs witch doctor im trying out iron horse so far my bikes pivot bolts havent broke same with the shock mounts santa cruz v10 costs too much for me so i settled for a ironhorse sunday this trail looks so fun
yeah but its all gone now and its also over grown. I've gave up in that place, its fun once in a while but I like Aliso Woods better. They have hot chicks and sweet trails, and its by the beach.
How good is the Nomad for that kind of freeriding!? Seems burly enough to hold you man! Tell me how the landing feels? Flex? tire rub? How about the rear shock? Enough travel?
The nomad is ok, when set up correctly. The biggest problem I had was with the pivots. I sent my first frame back after 7 months of riding and Santa Cruz sent me a new frame because the pivot areas where not alligning properly. The second frame is doing the same but this time Santa Cruz is willing to upgrade me to the 2008 V10 but they are charging me the difference. Once I get it I'll post the video clips. If you want a 6" bike look at the new slopestyle by Intense.
Thanks for the info dude! I've already considered the SS but has a very slack head tube and very low bb height with short chainstays, dunno how good would be for single track while still taking abuse with jumps like that of yours. Nomad seems to be the ticket, wonder how would be with the 08 for that pivot problem. I'm 200 lbs with gear on. The Uzzi however looks like THE bike, but I don't like that huge standover, an inch less would had made it perfect!
Bottomed out LOL

Just a tip; if you go into a wheelie when you're in the air tap the back brake. It will lower your front end a little bit.

It isn't flex. It's your tire hitting your seat.

Isn't that the place were all the supposed sketchiness goes down? Looks fun, I'll have to hit it up when I'm down there.
