@krokeman Yes it is a very useful gas. As well as allowing plants to grow it also keeps us warm. It's potent stuff though. A small increase in carbon dioxide makes a big difference and our emissions have already increased the amount in the atmosphere by a third. It is already changing the climate around the world.
@krokeman It is nonsense to suggest that every action taken by living creatures changes the climate. It is unequivocally true however that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas - it's not even controversial. The point of my earlier observations was that unless we reduce emissions, climate change is inevitable. It is not a minor change we are facing either, but war, famine and hundreds of millions of refugees kind of change. That's the point.
@SciFive climate change is inevitable, because universe is dynamic environment. I have nothing against reducing emissions by you. But you can't forbid this to others, since this planet is not yours and you don't have a monopoly for telling what is good and what is wrong. In my opinion civilization growth is very important and CO2 is very welcome gas, don't have any idea why to reduce its emissions.
@SciFive and BTW what is nonsense? Every action taken by living creature changes climate! For example breathing = CO2 emission. There are really bad things that peoples do with environment, but changing climate is not one of them.
Carbon dioxide is very useful gas. Thanks to these emissions we have plenty of food!

@SciFive every action taken by living creature changes the climate and many other things. I can't see the point of such observations.
