@whenmonkeysattack16 don't feel bad. she probably only knows of it as the military fashion for mama grizzlies.Maybe this would be a good way to teach her about the realities of tricke-down economics
What sort of thing is that to say, below me? Teaching camouflage to children is strange??? When I first learned about it in grade school it was the coolest thing in the world. I myself couldn't understand how animals could blend in, some with the ability to change colors as they sat on a rock or some plant. even deep sea fishes perform this. It made us interested more in science. it gave the idea of survival by blending in and to be aware of your surroundings. It is a wonderful word to learn.
@SubmarinerAndroid Ya. Keep it simple, stupid. Right? We wouldn't want to go beyond basic, would we? Kids are smarter than you seem to give them credit for.
Elisabeth is kind of hot but not as much as Nancy O'Dell (Entertainment Tonight) and Maria Menounos (Extra).

Elisabeth should consider acting full time. She does a good job acting like she's a smart person here.

Why teach kids the word camouflage? Strange.
SubmarinerAndroid 2 years ago 5
So that they can become ninjas. :)

@SubmarinerAndroid Why not teach them?
puppypoundhero 2 years ago 2
Because camouflage is a long, unusual word that isn't used much in basic conversation.
Also it's not a word that would be easy for a four or five year old to recognize using the whole word method, and it's confusing phonetically too.
Conceptually similar words like 'hide' or 'secret' would be more on the Sesame Street audience's level, it seems to me.
