Yes, the day was cold as well as the engine. The video was recorded and posted on 12/27/2007. 10000 miles later and the car still doesn't smoke.

The engine is from a Ford Mustang GT. It is a 302 with some mods. The transmission is a Ford T-5 5 speed. The car still has the factory independent rear.

i was told the color is sandle wood.i think its a factory chrysler color.i like the wheels too.they're not chrome,i just keep them polished.ive had many compliments on them

Thats the best thing that could have happened to that car. Why do guys hate to see swaps into these cars? Like they were icons or something? I remember when they came out and how they were like $18-19k even way back in '87-89. Overpriced as hell. In the Chicago street scene they lost every race they ever ran from what I remember. I think there was one fast Black one until it blew up. They had shitty motors. Now you find them sitting in driveways for $500 with nice bodies and never running.

I had an 88 and the head cracked without me ever overheating it, parts where very expensive and the head was weak, I later found out that the mitsu mighty max head would work with this block and is alot stronger.

It has a drag coefficient of 32, The A/C system took climate readings at both the ceiling and floor and compensated according to the temperature. It even had a photosensor to compensate for sunlight heat. This car was getting beat in a line cuss everyone had LX5.0's, IROCs or GTA's. In the hills of Cali the TSI was kicking those 3's ass due to its suspension and brakes
