I think the best are the ones who continued the series ( sonya,jax,scorpion,subzero,rep­tile,liu kang,sektor,cyrax,etc,) not all this new bs  the classics were the reason mortal kombat was the best fighting game my personal favorites though were subzero, smoke,sektor and cyrax basically all the ninjas used to play the hell out of them memorizing their fatalities and specials just to piss off my friends wasnt a big fan of rain though seemed like a rip off raiden even though he was a classic

I am a big Mortal Kombat fan but I personally feel that the gameplay was not as fun as other fighting games such as Dead or Alive or Tekken. But that doesn't take away from how BADASS the Mortal Kombat games are. Yeah..they might have not been as fun to play or had badass counters. But it had a sweet storyline and watching an awesome fatality is always fun :)

@TekkenFan13 My favorite character is Scorpion. Mavado was garbage. His design was garbage and his moves were garbage. He's a kabal rip off. Such a lame character. Even 95% of the community hates him. He was an uninspired character same goes with horrible characters like Hsu Hao, Mokap, Meat, Dairou, Darrius, Drahmin, Jarek, Kai, Reiko, Kobra, Nitara, and a few more. lol such horrible characters. The only good new characters to come out of MKDA are Kenshi, Li Mei, and Bo Rai Cho.

However here is something that is not opinion. MKDA-MKvsDC were garbage and were low quality products.

@TekkenFan13 lol I wasn't talking about the gore or blood in the games. MKDA-MKvsDC were horribly made and were rushed out. They focused more time on mini games than on the gameplay. Thats why those games were crappy. Fatalities won't make up for horrible gameplay. It has to have good gameplay. This new MK delivers that and goes back to 2D the way MK is suppose to be. Plus the fatalities are more gruesome than ever now.

I still supported the 3D MK games but they were crap.

That is what NRS should focus on is gameplay the most. And this new MK did give that. Even tho MKDA-MKvsDC sucked MKvsDC was the best out of those games. Now those games can be buried and forgotten.

@TekkenFan13 This not only my opinion, but it is 95% of the community who thinks this of MKDA-MKA that includes the Tekken community as well. And if you look at the games it would turn from opinion to fact. Its a fact that MKDA-MKA had broken shit like infinites, bugs, glitches, etc. Fact that the gameplay wasn't deep. Fact is was slow paced and clunky. These are things that make those games horrible. They weren't serious games. The only good thing about the games were the stories that it.
