The reasons the vettes lost was because the engine are choked. Stupid restrictors that were supposed to bring competitors back to GT1 failed. Aston couldnt do anything really in the states so they fled. Im sorry but the corvettes and vipers in the ALMS get treated like crap. Look what happened in laguna 2009? I wish they had no restrictors on any of the cars and just let the aston slug in out with the vette. Then we will see which is the better car......
No, it is a DBR9. There has not been a DBRS9 in ALMS until last year (and not since) and it was competing in the GT2 class before being replaced by a Vantage. Here it is GT1 class in a factory effort. Anyway, you can tell by the number of openings in the hood of the car. There was however two DBRS9s at Mosport that year. It was in the Speed World Challenge under the Autosports Design Racing banner. Their livery was white with black and red highlights.
The best parts are the ones with the vettes. Doesnt get much better than hearing those two cars. Great upload.

I wish AM would grow some balls again and race the vettes, but its too late for that seeing they moved to GT2....

In all honesty I agree with you, the DBR9 looks like it is wearing lipstick. Well I definitely like to pucker up to this car.
