In about 10 minutes I can ad a function to every register in all 128 stores across 5 states for this tax from my desk at corporate. So when they decide to initiate this tax most companies could implement it immediately.

The people stood up in 1776, 1780's (Shay's rebellion among others,"the second war for independence"), 1794. Okay, back to talking about the video. In regards to a Federal Sales Tax, I have heard about the Fair Tax being proposed. If this passed, then that one dreaded day in April would be just another day. Why? No IRS. I would like to keep 100% of my paycheck. Texas and Florida citizens don't have to file returns for their state taxes. Don't just take my word for it. Do your own research. Two books and millions of dollars of research about the Fair Tax have been written and compiled.

Brian Mulroney, Canadian PM who brought in the GST told us that it would be a temporary measure in order to reduce the deficit, and with the added income, he would actually be able to reduce the income tax across the board. However, like most politicians he lied. He used the money to build new infrastructure instead of paying down the deficit, and opened new government offices and hired new government employees to manage the collection and refunds of this new tax. And income taxes did not drop.

If you are into comparisons why not check the US dollar compared to the Canadian dollar. The US lost over $.30 in the last 8 month and is now below the Canadian dollar by $.04. If ya don't like that news then wait until they crash the US dollar and replace it with some other worthless toilet paper!
