There was no spiderman 4 last summer.

I've read Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst aren´t gonna be in the next Spiderman and the plan is starting it all over again.

Spiderman 4 will be Spiderman 1 with a different approach and different actors...same as it was done with Batman.

It's gonna be released in 2011,or so I've read.

If they sorted out those differences or the director has decided to carry on withthe story with different actors I didn´t know about it...I was just saying what I'd read and heard on TV.

They're starting it all over again...they're gonna re-tell the story from the beginning.

The same was done with Batman before...you had Batman,Batman Returns,Batman Forever and Batman and Robin...and then somebody decided to start again the story from a different point of view (Batman Begins,The Dark Knight).

This is exactly what's gonna be done with Spiderman...telling the story from a different perspective and with different actors and director...

I've just checked Google and I am right.

Sony announced Spiderman 4 was gonna start all over and Tobey Maguire left,followed by Kirsten Dunst and the director Sam Raimi

John Malkowich was gonna be the vulture,but he said on April that the movie was cancelled.and Sony said they start the saga in 2012 and the new director will be Marc Webb,that was published on May the 27th 2010.

The protagonists haven´t been decided yet,neither the actual plot has.
