The most common used is for "Laugh Out Loud" which is what people interpret it at sight, unless otherwise told a different meaning for the conversation. It can also mean "Lots of Love" Or, I suppose what you said, but I doubt anybody uses it. You're just making that up because you don't like that people say "lol". I'm sure lots of people would appreciate you not commenting on their dialog in conversations. Just to let you know.
