  • hello, I like to know if you get to see any boat traffic, and if you call the traffic on the radio or just wave. thanks in advance

  • @pavelavietor1 We do occasionally see other traffic but we try hard not to be within waving distance. Perfectly acceptable to call a passing freighter and ask for updated weather or a position check. VHF reception may not be clear so speak slowly, in short, precise sentences.

  • thanks again for another great video

  • Posting your position the way it's done in this video is excellent . Slower would be even better but not crucial. Thanks guys...

  • 1445.. that's half way.. it seems. has been nice following your progress on this passage.

    excited to see it through..

  • arent you freaked out by the movement of the sea when you come ashore?

  • @gubbelure LOL! When we go ashore after a long passage, the land seems to be moving. Trying to walk on land after a few weeks at sea can be pretty comical.

  • Why doesn't Laura do vlogs?

  • @baddogonline Laura usually prefers to be behind the camera but she has done a few logs in our series. Check out "Sailing the Pacific Coast-Day 7: Happy Clouds. I'll try to get her in front of the camera more often.

  • Ha ha ha, definitely a romance, no argument.
