I liked this very much, because you like the Gorillaz it reminded me of plastic beach. It does have the siesend.six sound, maybe they should have callaborated this song into their album I liked the pecussion ( not sure what the instument was) at 2:30 I agree with HD about more power in your voice in this song . Add a little more lead guitar into your song. Add more power in the voice. Sing from your diaphragm. Let your vocal chords guide the sounds that you want to produce. Make yourself a CD; maybe about a 1000 CDs. Give one to your local pop or rock station and pay them to play it. Also, offer to sell your CDs online and I would start out with $9 or $10 per copy plus S&H lol. Best way to make people know that you exist is by putting a commercial of your CD on the air.

I listened it again and I guess the chorus feels maybe a bit too straightforward as the melody seems more surreal to me.

Also noticed a typo in the video or in the lyrics, on the chorus you seem to sing place and so it says in the video but lyrics say palace. I guess both work and are correct :).
