reason i don't still play aion is that the combat system is somewhat bad... i mean, it's realistic and all, but the fact that the damage only goes in AFTER the animation is complete ends up in some extremely annoying deaths.

anyway, nicely done. can't get any closer to the actual song with just one instrument =P

I can actually play by ear almost everything, but it always miss something. When i was younger, i was thinking, that reading notes isnt understanding of music. i tought, it was reading japanese, whitout understanding a meaning of words. I still cant be anywhere near your skill at this life :D

Today i know, that reading notes and playing by ear is like 2 different paths to same results.

Ofcourse people admire playing by ear more than playing from notes, but they just dont know everything.

haha you know I used to think the same

things. though I've come to see written music vs by ear music as essay form vs speaking form. there are things you do in writing that you wouldn't necessarily otherwise do in speech.

speech tends to be more visceral and passionate; writing, more analytic and organized. so they each offer important things to the cause (essay, public speech or piece of music) but their differences allow for a unique presentation that contributes to the music itself.
