Wow, never have I been so embarrassed by a fellow Canadian. Firstly, Australia is forever moving forward, so the old 'white Australia' policy is a thing of the past. Kate is right, the media is trying to promote multiculturalism and tolerance. It embraces it. Further more, I've lived in Australia a few times in my life and have had the best times of my life there.
