Tyler is a great and knowledgeable commentator, but he lacks the enthusiam of an Adrian Healey, Ian Darke, or Derek Rae. Very good, but too calm and laid back for my taste. Doesn't make him bad, just not as exciting to listen to as the others. US soccer fans really were treated to excellent announcing by these gentlemen during the World Cup - we have nothing even close to them here.

I do think Martin Tyler is enjoyable to listen to but here in America we are blessed with having on Mexican T.V. and once in a blue moon English T.V. the brilliance and possibly greatest commentator in football history Andres Cantor. Gracias Andres
