  • why would you get a brush truck that big?

  • why would you get a brush truck that big?

to fit shit loads of equipmentin it. it could have BA lockers on the other side!!! my cat 2 does!!!!

  • lots of equipment is good but you still got to get to the fire, maybe it is different there, but here we have had trucks climbing hills nearly vertical striate up, big trucks just wont fit in the woods. but it works for where it is cool. you should not run out of water with that.

  • Yeah mate I see what you're saying.

Although when you push the gas on these new models with the turbo's, they tend to go. Apart from anything else, technically we aren't supposed to "speed" when responding anyway, although cops turn a blind eye.

And the size of it is just for the water really. There's a few cabinets around the tank, but other than that it's just used for it's off-road capability and 3,600L tank capacity, hence its status of "Heavy Bush-fire Tanker".

  • Lol, 2's are shit :P Gosford bought one, and never bought another.

  • it looks like a category 1 they can carry 3 to 4 thousand Lt of water!!! a cat 7 truck is what we use to get down little fire trails and to get into the guts of a fire! the bigger trucks are more for village type incidents, because they can fit all the equipment on and if needed they can go off road!!! i would rather have a 1 then a pumper!

  • DONT SCRATCH IT!!!!!!!

    LOL
