got a massive problem had to seperate mother rabbit from young... she kept on biting them and seemed agressive to them. They are ok am feeding them etc whats the best way of dealing with this should i try to reintroduce them. i have tried but she attacked them again
@MsTicklemesilly she will just kill them if you put them back sadly, just keep them perminatly away from mum all together, its good that they are feeding well, remember to rub there bellys after feeding etc!
@milliewillyds thanks for the help... am having mum spayed... they were her second litter. the first litter she was fine with. they certainly have good appetites!!!
@MsTicklemesilly aww, maybe getting her done will calm her down, jjust a little warning though, mummy rabbits know best most the time, and if she was trying to kill them there is a possibility of them being disabled.
hey, my bunny are 6months old and she just born 3 babies. 2 is already dead and only 1 is still alive. mother rabbit doesn't feed the baby bunny... what can i do
@JiaYu8 go to your local vets and get cat milk, and some cat nipples, or a seringe, then follow the instructions on the box .. feeed little bunny until it won't take no more 3 times a day. don't get it in its nose cause you will kill it, put little bit on its mouth and let it lick it off.. then when you have done that get a damp towel and carry on rubbing the babys belly till it wees. you will neeed to do this for at least a month
@milliewillyds, oh right. :). last night my rabbit gave birth to 5 babies. i dont want to touch the baby's. im new to this kind of stuff but the babies seem to be healthy. :)
they are so cute!!! i hope the disabled one will be ok. i want to breed small animals, hardly anyone breeds animals where i live and then i get annoyed because everyone goes to pet shops to get them
@webkinzfan2028 aww, every-time i go to the pet shop it's to visit my friends who run it, or to adopt an animal, as no one will buy it....i get the occasional fish or bird, and maybe a guinea pig if it isn't a breed i have.... good luck!!!! i don't think the disabled one will live, the mothers are not feeding it, and im not sure weather to leave them to it or if i should feed it ...
@CavyTube for people who have had bad experiences from adopting them, and who don't trust pet shops, so i have loads of people come to me for rabbits, so they can see the parents and know they have came from a good home. i only breed the rabbits untill they are 3-4 years....
@CavyTube some of them are Netherlands dwarfs and the others are crossed with tellitubby rabbits. and some type of craft rabbit is in there to,, i rescue rabbits and guinea pigs extra, but i havn't got no rescued bunnys at the moment, the last one died in feb...
